Spiralizer is awesome and sturdy
Over all the spiralizer is a very good product made of quality materials and seems like it will last awhile. It works as described and is easy to use. It stores nicely in itself. The only reason i gave it 4 stars was because an item was missing which has nothing to do with the quality of this item. It was supposed to have a rock n roll chopper which wasn't in the box. I didn't buy this for that though but was a little disappointed that it wasn't in there. The spiralizer seems to be exactly what i need as I'm trying to use vegetables as noodles to cut down on my carb intake. The rubber suction feet really make it stick to the counter while you're using it. Overall would recommend this product ..

Impressive Spiralizing Variety with Convenient Storage, Though Cleaning Presents a Challenge
The Mueller Vegetable Spiralizer is a versatile kitchen tool with an array of blades for creative vegetable dishes. The included storage for extra blades is a thoughtful touch. However, cleaning the base can be a bit challenging due to its design. Despite this, it's a valuable addition for healthier cooking.

Good value and fun kitchen tool
I purchased this spiralizer as part of my efforts to do a keto diet for my family. We also like to make a lot of pickled vegetables so the spiralizer will make quick work of julienne carrots and radish for this purpose. This spiralizer is wonderful to make zoodles. I use the coarse shredder blade for this. I feel like the finer blades break the spirals up too much. For julienne carrots and daikon to make pickles, I use the angel hair blade. This also works well and really is a time saver. I enjoy the very smooth operation of the slider and handle cranking. The blades are sharp so it feels really effortless, even on the harder vegetables. However, I also tried the spiralizer to make tornado fries for my kids (similar to those sold at the fairs). For this, I feel disappointed. There is no attachment blade that provides a plain spiral that is thick enough for fries. The plain spiral blade is only 3mm thick, which creates too thin a spiral for fries, the result is more like potato chips than fries. I think there needs to be a 5mm or 6mm spiral blade. Because the blades are proprietary to this unit, I cannot find one that would suit my purpose. I would happily purchase a thicker spiral blade or other “accessory blades" if they are offered, to make this spiralizer more useable to me..Build Quality of the spiralizer:The blade attachments are well made, and the blades are very sharp. I appreciate the very little effort required to slice through hard vegetables like carrots. The area where I wish could be improved is the upright part where the plastic handle attaches. This piece holds up the entire weight of the vegetable until you can push it into the blade. It feels a bit flimsy when turning and I am afraid it might break at some point. If this piece were made of metal, or designed so it is a bit thicker, I would feel it would be more durable. Also, the spikes on the end of this part, where you attach your vegetable sometimes does not hold the vegetable well and I have to make several attempts to attach the vegetable before it falls off before I can push it fast enough into the blade. I think if these spikes were a little longer and made of metal, that would help hold the vegetable better.Design of the spiralizer:I really like the blade storage that is incorporated into the design. It makes it convenient and keeps everything in one place. I also love that I can fold up the spiralizer compactly into a box for storage and not lose any parts. The thing that I don’t like is that there are indentation tabs on either side of the slider that prevent the vegetable slider from being pushed all the way into the blade. It makes it too difficult to slice enough of the vegetable. If I use the spiralizer for a smaller potato for example, I end up with a large chunk at the end that cannot be spiraled. This causes undue food waste.Overall, I like the spiralizer a lot and get good use out of it. I wish there were blade accessories as mentioned above in order to make thicker cut fries.

So much fun!
While this product isn’t the easiest to use, I really enjoy it!You have to hold it down while using it and it isn’t the easiest thing to clean but I can’t imagine any spiralizer being easy to clean. It’s also difficult to get some vegetables positioned. Carrots for example: if you buy the thin store bought carrots it’s difficult to get going. But the fat carrots at the farmers market are no problem.I’m general I’m very satisfied with my purchase. My favorite thing to make is carrot salad. My family enjoys eating it because it makes the carrots so thin and they can be used like a slaw. We even put the carrot salad on hotdogs and it’s wonderful!

Helpful for limited recipes
During my first-time use, instructions were hard to follow. Pieces were hidden all over, it was unclear which directions they should face when attached, and even when I figured that out, unless the lid was installed just right, I couldn't slide the piece with the handle close enough to the blade to do anything. Second use went way smoother, though I still battle getting the lid on and off. This is great for recipes like scalloped potatoes, or a cucumber salad that requires veggies to be sliced really fine and saves LOTS of time and reduces risk of sliced fingers. However, I'm not sure it's worth the set-up for basic grating-- I think I'll stick with my handheld grater for that.Cleaning is easy, aside from the piece that rotates up and holds the blade-- that just requires wiping down and hoping no liquid got too far into the joints.

Love Mueller brand, do not love this spiralizer
I want to preface this review with the fact that I own many Mueller brand products including a coffee grinder and vegetable peeler. I am 100% satisfied with these. With this spiralizer, not so much.Although the design makes it easy to clean, it is rather hard to use and can cause a messy result.I purchased this spiralizer to make zucchini spaghetti since I am diabetic and am trying to eat healthier. If it was any easier to use, I would have loved to have kept this spiralizer. However, at first use, and after trying every blade combination possible, I must say, it will take lots of practice to make proper vegetable spirals of any sort. I will continue to use my mandolin for now.Difficulty arises from these issues:- you need to apply constant pressure to the vegetable being held parallel to the ground to the blades for it to work property- this is made tricky by the plastic spikes that are rather large instead of metal pins like mandolin holders which dont hold veggies very well- if you are spiraling soft veggies, the veggies will constantly fall off and you will make short spirals which could be achieved easier with a mandolinPros: it is easy to clean
