Great item!
Bought this for my 20 month old son who has sensory issues and wants to bite and chew on everything. This toy really helped and he loved it. It's also great for teething!

Train biting
My toddler loves to train his jaw using this. It is teaching him chewing skills. Just remember to keep it clean. It is durable and does not change shape

Great tool for oral manipulation/sensory needs
Fist impressions (12/18/2018): So far so good. My daughter’s speech/oral therapist recommended this as part of her oral therapy. She was premie and doesn’t want to chew her food. She was hesitant at first, but took to it and happily uses it herself to manipulate her jaw muscle (under supervision of course). It’s quite flexible and easy to clean. Too early to say on longevity and if it’ll get damaged easily with repeated use as we’ve only had this for a week.**Updated** 11/02/2023. This thing has lasted almost 5 years! This is my daughter’s go to when she needs to chew on something. She’s not a hard chewer (most likely why it has lasted so long), and this helps give the oral input her brain needs to calm down (and hopefully refocus). We purchased the red one as well (slightly firmer one), but this is her favorite since it has more give and allows her to literally gnaw on it more. Has it helped her eating/oral motor skill? Yes. She’s still a picky eater, but she’s actually chewing her food as opposed to trying to swallow her food partially chewed (and then choking and/or throwing up her food). Highly recommend this chewy tube.

High recommended
My 1 year old approves. Son puts everything in his mouth I had to find something to prevent him from eating and putting things up his mouth. This is by far his favorite. I highly recommend.

But this!
My daughter loves this teether! She is 3 and everything goes in her mouth. This one she will actually chew on for quite awhile. Buying another one in a different color.

Recommended by healthcare professional
Our son’s Speech Path recommended this as a toy to help them learn how to chew. Our son doesn’t chew on it a ton, but it kind of squeaks a little when he does. You can see inside the tube that there are some bits of rubber that they didn’t clean out of the top of the T part, which I’m not super excited about. I’ve thought about trying to find a long thin knife to slide in and shave those out of, but I don’t have anything that thin. My concern is that some of the little pieces may dislodge when my son is chewing on them. It’s doesn’t seem like a huge likelihood, but that’s why it isn’t getting five stars (a little more care for the finishing details inside the tubes would be appreciated).

A favorite
My baby was not a good eater when transitioning to the bottle and solid foods. We saw a feeding therapist briefly and she recommended tube teethers, though I don’t remember the justification. This is the exact one she had in the office. This was one of the baby’s top 2 favorite teethers (the other being a multicolored teether in a similar style).

Love
These are the best my child had a lip, tounge, and buckle ties and we got one of these from our speech therapist. He loved it so much we ordered two more. Plus we don’t have to deal with the pacifier fight because he preferred the chewy tube. Easy for little one to grab on to. We order them now to and to all our baby shower gifts.
