VL81 LED Video Light

I bought this LED light for personal use — mainly for selfies and short videos — and I absolutely love it! It’s super compact and lightweight, so I can just toss it in my bag and take it with me anywhere. The light quality is surprisingly good for such a small device. It really helps smooth out skin texture and gives a soft, flattering glow on camera. I also love that you can adjust both the brightness and the color temperature — whether you want a cool tone or a warm one, it’s easy to get the right look. Definitely a great purchase if you’re into content creation or just want to look your best on camera.

This little light truly packs a punch! I bought this to enhance my Instagram pictures and it’s perfect. It may be small, but it’s SUPER bright, making it a great, reliable travel light. It has both warm and cool lighting plus it’s dimmable. I bought this light months ago and haven’t had to charge it yet, the battery life is great! This is coming from someone who is always forgetting to charge their electronics. This was definitely worth the money in my opinion.

This light is everything you need and more to make your content pop! It’s worth every penny. This light brightens the ENTIRE room and it has 3 different color settings. It’s portable and very easy to assemble on your camera. I HIGHLY recommend!!

I like this light. The adjustable brightness and color temperature are perfect for photography sessions, and I even use this for zoom calls. However, the batter on this is terrible. I've seen lights similar to this that can go for well more than a full day use... I'm lucky to get 3 hours out of it, so I had to buy an additional USB cable long enough to keep it plugged in all the time.

These little lights really kick some butt. I ended up using them outside and installing some cameras I ordered working into the night and they really lit up the outside of my house. I’m not playing. They are very potent little. I originally purchased them for my YouTube set up but until I get that started, they’ll be used for any and everything and I bought two Amazon tripods to go with each of the lights I purchased, and they sit on them perfectly. It’s the nicest little set up but very effective.

The light itself is great, but the construction is super cheap and broke within a week.

Well, I've been looking for a light to help with night time video and photos...this one exceeded my expectations exponentially!!! I originally bought 1, but shortly bought a second before my son's first event gig for his band. My videos came out nice and clean vs the built in light on the camera. Guests at the event also praised my lights and glad I had them to help with their videos and pictures. And now, I used them a 2nd time for night time bbq'ing. Always hated using my phone's light, my headlamp for camping, even my flashlight wasn't helping much cause it was taking one of my hands away. Soo, since I had my lights still mounted to my tripod, I brought it out and lit up my grilling area. Man, these lights flood the grilling area very well. I can see the coloration of the meat, the grill marks, everything. I now am gonna be sure to put this in my camping pack whenever I go out again. And before anyone asks in the Q & A area, you can charge the light while it is in use. When I first got the lights, that was the very first thing I tested. As for any heat, the case doesn't get hot and is barely even warm at full blast. And another thing too...I know it has a range of selection for lighting...I prefer the warm white light, than the bright white when it comes to the videos and photos. For some reason the color brilliance is muchly enhanced vs the cool white. But even still, the cool white can be used for certain situations when needed. I don't have any photos currently to show as they are on my PC and I am writing this review from my phone. Will upload photos when I can and update the review when done.

This product is worth every dime you spend on it. It is easy to work, fits on the camera great and provides a lot of light needed for filming.

Mooi licht en uitstekende bouwkwaliteit. Vrij sterk licht voor zo’n klein blokje, maar is goed te dimmen.

Ich benutze das Licht, um Fotos für meinen Foodblog zu machen. Ich war sehr positiv überrascht, als ich festgestellt habe, wieviel Licht das kleine Gerät gibt. Die Handhabung und die Anbringung an der Kamera war kinderleicht. Ich bin mit dem Gerät sehr zufrieden. Es ist leicht, klein, handlich, sehr unkompliziert und eine sehr gute zusätzliche Lichtquelle.
