I put the sheet down a little crooked—can I peel it back up and try again?

Best to place it right the first time, since lifting it can crease the film or tear the paper. Peel back a 1-inch strip of backing, align that edge as a hinge, then remove the rest slowly while smoothing outward.

I got a small air bubble after sealing—is there any way to fix it?

Often, if you catch it early. Press firmly with a credit card from the center of the bubble toward the nearest edge. Next time, smooth in one direction from one edge instead of pressing the whole sheet at once.

The backing is hard to separate—how do I get it started?

Start at a corner, not mid-edge. Bend the corner back sharply, or stick tape on it and pull, to split the layers. Work with dry hands, then peel slowly at a low angle so the film doesn't crease.

Why do I see tiny specks or a cloudy spot under the film after laminating?

Specks are usually trapped dust or lint; cloudy spots are fingerprints on the adhesive. Wipe your document and surface with a lint-free cloth, peel the backing right before applying, and hold the sheet only by its edges.

I used it over stickers and the edges started lifting—what am I doing wrong?

Lifting happens where the film crosses a raised edge. Let the sheet extend well past the sticker onto flat paper, press that border down firmly with a card, and round the trimmed corners so they don't catch.
