Good choice
I used it with my camping stove at the end of October in the south east, so it wasn't really cold. The briquettes burn surprisingly easy. I used 3 fire starters because I wasn't sure how it would work, but I'm pretty sure with one would suffice. The heat produced is huge, at some point I was sweating and after that there was enough heat to be confortable. They do last around 1.5h I would say, didn't really time it.There is some smoke coming out, I can't compare with logs, but that can be an issue if the ventilation is insufficient.I still need to use them in november, but I'm sure they will do the job

Good product but ridiculous packaging
Briquettes are always a good choice as they burn longer than logs. I bought these to take on holiday with us as there is a log burning stove at out accommodation and I’ve used them before. Where we are going there are very few places selling logs and the weather looks unsettled. The delivery was prompt. Why or why though is a secure box of Briquettes delivered in another huge box with a humongous amount of brown paper, enough to fill a bin. It just seems a complete waste and yet more to be put In recycling. It’s just not necessary.

Good to add to Kamado
Bought these to add some extra heat to my Kamado / egg oven when cooking pizza.I was cooking mainly with charcoal, but used these to get some rolling flame and help cook the pizza top. Some tips: - use larger lump charcoal (e.g. restaurant charcoal) if you want to get really high temps. A fire basket is useful, to add extra ventilation - don't need too much charcoal - set the pizza stone as high in the egg as you can (e.g. rack) direct heat under - pre-heat the stone for 45mins plus - you only need a few small pieces of this log to add significant extra heat - pre-warm the pieces though before adding on top of the charcoal - they last plenty long enough - you can break chunks off by hitting them against a hard corner, e.g. a step

Check burn time
Nice that it arrived with no wastefull non-recycable packaging so top marks for that. The logs lit OK with and burned with nice flames and little smoke, but we had a fire made of 3 of the logs and it was gone in just under an hour and a half. I'm OK with that tbh, but needs pointing out as it doesn't match some of the claims here. I would buy again, but for the £ there are longer burning alternatives.

Lots of smoke, quickly burned. Useless
This is at most a fire starter. Do not buy for home or camping.

Worked as expected very similar burn to a similar sized log
Was in two minds whether to try these or not, wanted something to go in a fire pit but I did use these in combination with actual logs rather than on their own. I found they did ignite quite quickly although I used kindling and fire-starters to get everything going initially. They didn't necessarily give as much flame as the logs but they certainly gave out as much heat. Would recommend.

great product but terrible packaging
The product works really well in the pizza oven and the logs do burn nice and hot. The issue is with the packaging. There are 12kgs of compressed beech in a single wall outer that is paper thin. The last delivery I had was 3/4 dust with not a single log intact. The journey a parcel like this has to survive with ramps belts and chutes within the delivery system demands a more robust outer pack. They are expensive for what they are and a better box is not too much to ask for the cost involved. I ordered two boxes and one has not turned up marked"undeliverable" by Amazon. I expect the pack has exploded at the sorting office. I wont buy again unless I hear that the pack has been improved.
