FINALLY a diagnostic penlight that actually lasts! I could only find the cheap ones in 5 packs that last a day or two if your lucky, or the $300 halogen ones that are not worth the money, or the non-medical ones that are way too bright but no one (until now) has made a basic, affordable, long lasting diagnostic pen light like this!List of features:- Well focused LED light that is not too bright to shine in pupils and uses very little electricity.- Takes regular AAA batteries, a pair of lithium batteries should last years.- Click top switch to turn on, and click it again to turn off. If its laser engraved, it should be permanent but if its some kind of ink it might eventually rub off.Anyway, if you need a medical pen light this is your answer.

Good penlights - received them quickly and as described, except I got purple & blue, not green & yellow. I saw someone's question about that and knew it was a possibility, so (1) I don't care, and (2) I actually prefer the colors I got. I already got an email from their customer service following up about the products, though, so I'm sure they would respond quickly to fix it if you really wanted the other colors. The penlights work well. I like the pupil gauge on the side, and I like that it clicks on the top, not on the side. Will try to update if something changes. :)

My favorite penlight! I ordered this as a nursing student and have used it for a few years in my profession. It’s bright enough for assessment but still appropriate to use as a flashlight. Downside? It gets bumped and turned on in my pocket so I always have extra batteries on hand.

I have only used it a handful of times for my clinical skills class, but thus far it works great! Aesthetically pleasing and work without a hitch! We'll see how long they last - hopefully for a few years to come. I like that batteries came for each - one less step in getting my supplies for medical school!

Overall very good pen-light. It is very useful as a night shift nurse. It is a little too bright for pupil exams, and I prefer to just use it to navigate dark rooms on night shift. The screw-on cap for the battery compartment often comes a little loose, but overall I love this full-metal penlight.

Just with everyday use

Works well for bedside care in nursing school and, for once, batteries were included for both pen lights! It's the little things in life. :)Colors are both as shown, and the lights are bright but not blinding. They'd be great for little ones who are fascinated with flashlights like mine were.

Used twice then it died. Replaced batteries and still did not work. I gues the light bulb must of blew. Junk. Save your money.
