These are 1kg bags (x2) They will last approx. 1 week in high humidity before they are saturated (blue spot turns pink) The saturated weight will be approx. 1.32kg (that is 32% not the stated 40% - they are also not the higher quality round silicate beads, they are rough and not uniform in shape) The microwave instruction to place for 12mins in 600w (or 80% power in a 850w for example) is completely inacurate and very misleading. You will need to microwave each bag for 4 to 5 times 12 mins each (40-50 mins total, each), and mop out the inside of the microwave and replace the paper towel wrap before the weight gets anywhere close back to the unsaturated weight of 1kg. These are however, a good product, and work well. Tip: make sure the blue/purple spot is always facing upward in the microwave. If on the underside it will get damaged by the extreamly hot liquid that will collect on the underside of the bag.

I am impressed with these. My car often had condensation on the windows and glass roof in the colder mornings. A pain when you have to sit and wait for it to warm up with the blower on full, and it was wasting fuel. These work really well. I place one on the dashboard and one on the centre console between the front seats. They really do work. A blast in the microwave wrapped in paper kitchen roll dries the moisture out, and they are ready to go back into the car. The colour indicator does work. I have previously tried cheaper versions, but they werent very effective. The Hillington Car Dehumidifer does the job very well, and saves wasting time warming the car up to clear the windows. Money well spent.

Does exactly what its supposed to do. It does take a while before you have to stick in the microwave to dry it out. Only time will tell on how many uses you can get out the bag before it stops working. Would definitely buy again, sorted out all the moisture within my car.

I bought these because I have a two seat car which is unusual in that the roof is one sheet of metal which folds back in one piece into the rear of the car. So overnight the metal can get moisture condensing on the metal side inside the car. These bags are amazing since using them no moisture at all and the fact they are reusable is a bonus. They do come with a pad which holds them to the dashboard or you can just put them into the door pockets. The colour changing button is a. Great extra feature taking the guesswork out of the equation. When the colour changes pop them into the microwave and then reuse them again. Perfect as a practical gift would recommend them super value for money. A+

These work extremely well for keeping damp air out of an old car. I have an old Renault 5 which is prone to fogging on the inside and smelling a little damp. I just throw one on the dash and one on the parcel shelf and wait until they turn pink. When they do, it's really easy to just pop them in the microwave wrapped in a paper towel. They can show blue when taking them out of the microwave at first, but then later turn pink so I would recommend doing this in short bursts to ensure they're completely dry. They still look as good as day 1 too!

Excellent product, I have been very frustrated over the years with the condensation on my front screen, it takes so long to clear. The first day I received this input it straight in the car and it had the windscreen cleared within 10 mins … I now leave it in overnight and the window is always clear. It’s much bigger than I realised - I was expecting something about the size of my palm but it much bigger than that. It probably says that in the spec I just hadn’t noticed.
