I lead worship services for children when we get to move around the sanctuary. I couldn't hold my camera and my guitar or a story book. I charged this device, put this on a tripod, and it followed the kids! It did not just follow one specific person - it goes to where the motion is. I can't wait to try to try it when I am teaching by a white board, and moving around. I use it with my phone (it fits better when the phone does not have a case). I also can use it with my mini ipad. The "eye" is not in the camera, so whatever software/app I use - it works. The only problem was that I kept calling it my new "toy" and the kids didn't think it was so cool for a toy - I do :) It is a great size and had no problem being screwed onto a standard tripod camera "foot." I even turn it on just for fun in my office on the desk, to show it off to people visiting. It will swivel and follow without a device on it (although, obviously it is not serving any purpose then except to show off). I can't believe how affordable this is!

Great idea and concept, TERRIBLE execution. First, the slot for the phone is not thick enough, so if you have a case on your phone, it will barely fit. 2nd, the 'phone holder' is a total joke, it holds absolutely NOTHING in place. 3rd, the instructions that come with it, NOT IN ENGLISH ???? Uh hello, Seller, are you reading this? If you are selling your product in NORTH AMERICA, make sure you have ENGLISH instructions included. Sure, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out: just charge and then turn on, but if your lighting is not bright, or planning to use this in a dark room setting or at night outside, forget about it, the thing is going to keep looking for your face and keep spinning around and around and around and ---you get the picture, because you won't be able to get a video or picture out of this thing. Simply put, I love this idea and technology without an app or Bluetooth connection required, but this device still needs MAJOR IMPROVEMENTS.

This is a very inexpensive tracking accessory. The phone holder doesn't clamp a phone well. The tracking is not smooth. It's very jerky when it moves. And there isn't a proper mounting screw to attach a phone clamp. But for the price its probably a good value if you can overcome the movement

I thought it was cool.I was right.The product itself looks good and has a smooth plastic casing.Once the battery is installed and the application is downloaded, you are ready to use it.My criticisms of the actual gimbal are few.The base should be slightly heavier to better support the weight of the phone.Also, the mechanism responsible for rotating the phone stand is a bit looser than I expected, which makes the phone wobble a bit in the phone stand.Otherwise, the cradle head is solid.I would recommend Yuntai.

I can not figure it out!! And no real instructions!! So not worth the time it is taking to figure out how to use it! We are not all technically savvy

Great product at a great price. I initially had some issues with my phone falling off but quickly figured out ways to keep it in place. The product does its job. I use it to record workout videos for my YouTube and Instagram.

I’m giving this product a 5 stars because it actually works the way it is supposed too. As first I was Skeptical because it came in a TracFone box and I was like I sent me a bootleg use gadget but it actually works so the packaging was misleading but the actual item was on point... that’s all that matters to me.

Not a huge fan of this. I wish you could adjust the slot to fit a phone and/or ipad better so it wouldn't rock, fall, etc while it is moving with you. I got this because I am a trainer and do live videos. I thought it being able to follow me would be great and so convenient.....not so much when my phone and ipad fall forward whenever it follows me.

This item arrived safe and well packaged. This motion tracking camera device is a brand new design concept to me. Until now I've only seen app controlled camera add-ons, so it was great fun to find out more about this item. This has it's own little tracking camera and can maintain tracking the subject well for the entire time it's being used. The device holds your camera/phone very securely, so it can be used quickly, easily and safely. This actually fits on a tripod properly too, and is just the right size for ease of use. The integrated battery seems to last a good few hours, so plenty of time for creating those incredible movies! The device has a handy little light for reminding you when to charge too. I really like this clever design! A very simple solution, only made possible by the super intelligent technology inside! I highly recommend this product!

Had seen trackers for phones but really needed one that could handle a Tablet. This one does!! The sturdiness is a tiny bit wobbly with a tablet but smoother with a phone. Quite excited to unbox this and get it working. It is VERY easy to use (once you realise the camera is for motion detection only and you don't need to connect your device via Bluetooth or any other messing about). You simply, turn it on, charge it, place your device on the top, securing the angle with the tabs, and watch the camera turn as you move about! Instructions mentioned a blue light, but I assume on mine the blue is actually green and I'm not colourblind.

Update: Overall I was happy with the product but the on off switch broke after thee months of using it a couple of times a week. The unit is glued shut with no screws so it is not reparable and on destructively opening the case the tiny switch that turns it on and off had broken off the circuit board. This cannot be resoldered. Original: I researched the market before getting this. There seemed to be cheap ones that use bluetooth to connect a phone app to the tracker, expensive ones that use bluetooth to connect to the tracker, and this one which seems to be the only one with its own built in tacking processor. Based on price and reviews (mainly bad ones of the cheap options) I went for this one. I use it to film my ballroom dancing in a hall. I had previously used a gopro type camera with a wide angle lens to cover the whole room but the trade-off is that you look very small int he frame. With this placed half way along a side and using the phone camera we stay in frame and there is so much more detail to help us evaluate our dancing. We are really pleased with the purchase and use it several times a week. Tracking is generally pretty good but has very occasionally lost us and filmed the empty end of the hall until we pass in front of it again. So really no complaints there. As it is a very controlled environment there is nothing to distract the tracker (no other faces or movement). My only real complaint about it is that the adjustment of the direction occurs in sudden short bursts rather than a steady flowing panning action. But considering the only option that would have done better than this was about three times the price, I am happy to live with this.

Don't waste your money on this. It hunts and spins looking for faces even if you are in front of it (when it finally stopped hunting it was facing away from me towards my fish tank which I tried not to take personally). Seriously sometimes it locks on but it can't be relied on to stay locked on, movement is generally jerky and really no use at all for video, which is surely its only purpose. One for the bin.
