Misleading ingredients
I am very disappointed in the double-talk the manufacturer engaged in regarding this product. This product was clearly advertised as having “no sugar added”, yet “organic apple juice” is the second ingredient. While not cane sugar or high fructose corn syrup, it is clearly an added sweetener. I will not buy this product again.

not "golden" raisins
What you are getting is a regular organic raisin, the kind you can buy at any grocery store for a quarter of the price. They are not as lightly colored as in the picture, so they are not truly golden, they are just a little lighter than your regular raisin like a medium brown. In the US raisins and golden raisins are made from Thompson grapes, except golden raisins (also named sultanas) are dipped in oil and sulfates, both of which is not done here, hence you end up with regular raisins. Basically, you cannot have an organic golden raisin, it is a contradiction in terms.Cannot believe I fell for the overpriced marketing ploy.

WARNING: Cross Contaminated with Peanuts and Tree Nuts
My wife has a severe allergy to Peanuts and Tree Nuts, and these are processed in a shared facility with both. There is no mention of that on the product page and this item is not eligible for a return which means I now have a package of useless product that I wasted my money on!DO NOT PURCHASE if you have any sort of allergy.

Tossed both packages - they smelled of mildew
I thought the mildew was just on the outside of the bag so I emptied the contents into a large zip bag.I ate one piece - the flavor was pretty good but it was absurdly chewy - not sure I would want to put that kind of chewing effort into eating anything. The second piece - smelled of mildew.I tossed both bags - there goes $40+ dollars <insert unhappy face here>. I would have returned it but given the state of the world with the pandemic of 2020....I'm not sure a return of a mildew dried papaya falls under the necessary travels guidelines.

My golden raisins were definitely not golden
I was looking for sultanas but they're not usually stocked at my local grocery stores. I ordered these. However, when they arrived, they came in a package without a window--a solid package with a label indicating "Golden Raisins" within. On opening the package, however, I discovered that my new raisins appeared to be the usual brownish ones. I cooked them up and, indeed, they are nearly indistinguishable from the raisins I already had in my pantry. I don't know if this was a packaging error or what but the "golden raisins" I received were definitely not that.

These raisins should win a prize for terrible taste
After eating raisins for more than 70 years, I found the worst tasting raisin imaginable.I have been eating raisins as my sweet treat all through the Covid lockdown and thought I'd givethese a try. Two small handsful led straight to the garbage can. Big waste of money.

The Five stars are for the organic currants and one star for the golden raisins
This 5 star (*****) review is for the organic currants that I purchased at the same time with the golden raisins. The currants were perfect just what I ordered. The organic currants kept being swapped out and replaced with the golden raisins whenever I tried to review the currants. The result being that the golden raisins got the 5 stars I gave to the organic currants. Very frustrating. The golden raisins/sultanas review is attached to the organic currants review somehow. The golden raisins were a disappointment and not golden and was given 1 star (1*).

Sweet Morsels of Delectable Goodness
First of all, these Organic Sultana Golden Raisins are delicious! So fresh, juicy, and sweet - a perfect snack. If only they weren't so addictive - my household devours these by the handful. We will be sure to purchase again!Second of all, if anyone takes the time to look through the product pictures and read the descriptions, you will clearly see mentioned time and time again that these raisins will not be a bright golden yellow. With any natural and organic product, you have variations in color or texture. THAT IS A GOOD THING! It means that you are getting something real, not a processed product that is altered to look a certain way.One thing is for sure, I am a super fan of these golden raisins!
