Great build quality, instructions a little vague, good heat output and looks great in the garden

I bought this for my wife for the garden and we love it. When lit and on full the flame looks really cool especially in the dark. The heat given off is pretty good too but I found it best to give it 5 or 10 minutes before the glass tube really heats up. I think that all patio heaters work best in the right environment. If it’s windy then the chances are you won’t get the full benefit. If it’s calm and in a cosy smaller area I believe it will work great.One thing to remember, make sure you’ve got, or can get a 13kg gas bottle before you buy this or it will be a waste of time. As of June 2023 you can’t get a new contract for a bottle. However you can buy them on other “popular bidding sites” so double check first. This will fit the green 13kg gas bottle but will also be fine with the orange one too but you’ll have to change the regulator which you can easily get on Amazon.Update Aug 2023: Once you’ve put this together make sure you anchor it to the ground, don’t be tempted to just leave it standing. We hadn’t finalised it’s spot to live got unlucky and caught out by the wind and it blew over and bent the top (GUTTED as it was tucked in a corner!). I’ve managed to bend it back in place and it still works fine, the glass didn’t break but we know the top is out of shape. Protect it or believe me you’ll regret it 😩

This is a large patio heater. The sort you find in pub gardens (at least when they’re allowed to open). Assembly was fairly easy although the instructions are not clear and some parts not readily identifiable. This resulted in panels being fixed to the wrong side, but easily rectified. It fits together well although the central glass tube joint is a bit flimsy. Mine arrived with a defective gas regulator which constantly leaked when connected. I switched it out and replaced it with a quality Weber one. Heat output is ok on full burner but not brilliant with a lower flame. It does produce a very good visual effect at all settings though. As this is a big heater it is somewhat obtrusive if a group of people are sitting around it.It’s not particularly portable as the tiny wheels don’t engage the ground and lift the base clear until it’s tipped back to a significant angle. If you do this with a full gas cylinder in it the cylinder will move and push the side panel out.There is also a risk that the glass inner sleeve will fall out when tipped up at the angle needed to move it and when doing so the wire frame sides unhook themselves. There are some design flaws that could easily be fixed by the manufacturer and for the price it should have been supplied with a weather cover. Generic covers fit but not particularly well. So far I cannot tell how frugal its gas consumption is. I’ve used it on full power for about 3 hours in total and still have half a 13kg bottle of gas left.

Delivered on time, easy to put together and it works a treat. Would highly recommend this heater.

The instruction booklet step by step guide for each illustrative diagram has letters to indicate each item, yet none of the components are lettered!! This made the process of putting the heater together rather long winded. There are no instructions to where the aa battery should be placed for the ignition so after googling we discovered that it is placed inside the ignition button. Some of the screws to secure the side panels are poor quality where the thread just easily snapped.Overall it’s a nice looking feature which sits well in our garden, but we are yet to try and test whether it throws out enough heat and does what it says on the tin!!

Great replacement for the two piece tubes that broke when heater blew over. This is one tube and it looks so much better. Easy to recommend this product !

Very difficult to build. Sharp edges caused two serious cuts. Instructions were very difficult to follow because they were too small. Only by the process of elimination was I able to finally build it & I generally have no problem self building. Would I recommend- NO unfortunately & I’m normally person who would generally write a positive review 👎🏼
