Pure Maple Sugar Candy, 1 Lb.

Absolutely loved the maple candy! The quality was great, as good or better than what I've gotten at sugar shacks in Vermont and New Hampshire. When I bought two boxes, the company was kind enough to send me a hand written note, as well as some extra candy! I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone that is interested.

This maple sugar candy arrived in perfect condition. Price per ounce was better than competitors, and the quality is nice. There is an initial sugary crunch followed immediately by a melt-in-your-mouth goodness. Highly recommend this small business.

I love maple candy and this is the best deal I have found. They were a little bit hard for my taste when they arrived but they had to make a long journey to Panama. I just stuck them in a tupperware with a slice of bread and they softened right up! Yum yum yum!

I am a BIG maple fan. And being as how I am disabled, it is not the easiest to just traipse around looking for good maple candy. So, I thought I would try getting it to come to me! I was so concerned I would get old chalky candy off Amazon though. But what’s a maple lover to do?I weighed all of Amazon’s choices carefully. Being disabled, I am on a fixed income, and maple candy does not come cheap.Stony Acres ends up costing the least even though you have to pay for shipping.And WOW!! It tastes just like the maple candy my mom used to get for us from the Cost Plus World Market in Cali, but better! Also, It was MADE on 3/10/24. I received it on 3/14. Fresh maple candy??!! Only days old??!! Be still my beating heart. I am in love! And Stony Acres packaged it with care and a lovely card thanking me for supporting small businesses.This is definitely the best maple candy to buy from Amazon!

These were ok for the price. They tasted a bit on the gritty side. Could just have been that particular batch. Candy is tricky to make if your temperature is even off a little bit! They were fresh when they arrived.The packaging was good and the personal handwritten card were very nice touches.I’ve recently purchased these candies from other farms and so far Nova Farms is my favorite they are rich and creamy and were fresh when they arrived.

I grew up waiting for Christmas time when Hickory Farms store would get stocked with fresh maple sugar candy. The stores are long gone and when they pop up at the holiday season now the prices are obscene. I have been in the habit of buying my maple candy online directly from the farms where it is made. I do this in the Winter because that is when they tap the trees and get the syrup that is boiled down into the raw sugar and then placed into molds. I fully expected this box of maple candy to be fresh and flavorful as well as melt on my tongue. When I opened the box I could tell I would be disappointed. The candy was slightly discolored. As it ages and dries out the color changes from an almost caramel to a near white. The first piece I tried was rock hard and instead of the expected sweetness it had an off taste to it. I tried other and they were all the same. It was a lot of money needed elsewhere wasted. I can still crush it and sprinkle it on certain foods but unfortunately I sent a box to my son since it was something we enjoyed together when he was young. I am very disappointed. If it is a rick to buy from this company I simply will not and will not recommenced them.

Making maple sugar candy isn’t easy. Making it soft, yet firm is a skill that takes years of practice. I’ve never had better quality maple candy. It melts in your mouth.
