how long does it last?

I use the pen every day for all my writing needs. It lasts about two months. Seems to be a reasonable time considering the price. I would highly recommend.

I have not have them leak and I use daily. I also took one on a plane with no issue. Great cheap alternative in fountain pens.

Not that bad at all...I've never seen a fountain pen that did not smudge a little.

does anyone know if the ink is lightfast?

Don't know much about lightfast ink but I've had mine for over a year and can't see any fading. They are great pens though.
