I own two Kuyal mats—one I've used for about a year, and a second I purchased recently. Both arrived rolled up but flattened out easily after following the included instructions: unroll and then roll in the opposite direction. To help the edges settle, I placed heavy books overnight, which did the trick.The mats are transparent, allowing the wood flooring beneath to remain visible. On slick floors, the mat may shift slightly; however, the newer version included double-sided tape. I applied it to the top corners, and it has effectively kept the mat in place.The bottom surface of the mat is smooth, while the top has a subtle texture. Very thin. Cheap crap from China. But it does work OK and it was a good price. Comes rolled up like a tube but did flatten out nicely on floor. After having it awhile I changed review from two star to four star. I was just expecting something more substantial. Works great on hardwood floor. Not for carpet.

Shipping was fast. It came rolled up in a tube. It unrolled easily and I just put a weight on each corner for a day and that completely flattened it out. It is working great and protects the floor, very smooth for chair on top of it. I have only had it for a couple of weeks, so I don't know about the quality long-term but I hope it lasts.

Great for hardwood floors but not carpet. I have very plush carpet and needed something so my chari would roll.... unfortunately this made it worse. If I sit in any one spot the mat now creates a crater like hole that the wheel of my chair gets stuck in. So I can even use it. So if you need it on carpet go with something thicker.

saves my hardwood floor from computer chair scratches so definitely a need if you have hardwood floors. good size and stickiness is reasonable. good mat quality so far. easy of roll is good. not bad softness too. functions how it should.

Well what can I say?Need a new floor mat. Ordered and received. Item arrived on time and as described. If you are looking for a floor mat that converts into a magic carpet and will take you to exotic locations, this os not the right floor mat for you. But if you are looking for a floor mat that will prevent your chair from getting stuck while you are rolling and the chair tipping over, and then hitting your head on the file cabinet behind you. then this might be the floor mat for you. So far, no new dents in my file cabinet.

Affect my title pretty well says it all. My hardwood floor was starting to chip and break and peel in places due to my chair and the fact that I am 200 lb rolling around on it awesome. It is the click lock type and where it connected was causing problems I should have used this man from the beginning. The mat does a wonderful job of protecting and it looks great even though the clear one does get some stuff under it and I have to move it to vacuum it is not hard to move. The slip resistance is terrible and the only reason I cut it a star is because it will slip constantly slide into my desk and I'm having to move it back and forth each day.
