Finally a socket collar that fits my oversized socket. Thought I needed a 1 5/8 (which they don't make), but thought I'd try one more time with this collar which is 1 1/2" inside diameter....it fits! Yippee!!!

We bought a 4-bulb light fixture for our upcoming bathroom remodel. The original socket rings were a thin aluminum, and they didn't all tighten down properly (and were difficult to tighten). Replaced them with these and they tightened easily and securely. Because the glass shades are frosted you won't see them anyway. We feel much more secure installing the fixture now and changing bulbs or removing the shades in the future. Inexpensive and very effective.

In the house we bought the rungs were missing. After looking and calling the manufacture to try to get replacement which they didn’t sell. Rings fit the socket fine I have a tool to screw them on because glass globe are narrow and I can’t get my hand in there to turn the socket rings
