Great for kids activities
I use some of these for spreading wood glue on projects. They are awesome for that. Glue does not stick to them. Let the glue dry when done and pull the dried up glue off them.I use them too as outdoor paintbrushes for my 2 and 4 year old kids. We bring them to the pool and the spray-ground but they have the most fun with them in our driveway. I just mix up baking soda, food coloring, a bit of water, and they "paint" the ground. I give them squirt bottles with white vinegar in them to spray their paintings and watch them bubble up. They rinse off in no time flat and have stood up to some pretty rigorous painting on our asphalt driveway. The other brushes use them when cooking with cast iron and stainless steel. I'm often cooking items such as pancakes and cheelas, where I need to oil the pan quickly between brushes. I'm usually cooking at a pretty high temp and nylon just can't hold up to it. These brushes apply the oil smoothly, hold a good amount, and hold up to the higher temps. They also clean well, whether by hand or in the dishwasher. They also don't seem to pick up the dishwasher soap as some of my other silicone does. This six pack of heavy duty brushes arrived quickly and saved the day. It's cookout season! From spreading sauce on homemade pizza to basting kabobs to brushing olive oil on baguettes for bruschetta, they're handy little kitchen helpers. I especially like that these guys are sturdy, a convenient size, and all one piece. Thus, no bristles to pick out of the BBQ sauce!
