Good sound without the need of a headset.
I was just looking for a simple pair of speakers for my desk. I don't like wearing a headset when I'm gaming and wanted to be able to hear things going on in the house. These have worked out really well for that. For the price, I'm genuinely pleased with these speakers. The main goal was to get decent sound for my games without being stuck in a headset, and they deliver on that. They look good, sound clear enough for my needs, and the setup was pretty simple aside from one small thing. It was also a complete coincidence that the white color was a perfect match for my PC, which was a nice little bonus.Pros:Looks & Size: I didn't even plan it, but the white version of these speakers looks great next to my all-white PC tower. They have a nice, clean appearance and don't feel bulky on my desk.Good Everyday Sound: For gaming and just watching videos, the sound is solid. Voices are clear, and game effects come through just fine. I'm not an expert on audio, but for what I need, the quality is more than good enough.Comfort: The best part for me is just being able to play games without having headphones clamped on my head. It's way more comfortable, and I'm not isolated from the rest of the house.Cons:None thus far but will update as I use it more

Awesome personal bookshelf speakers
Excellent speakers but my volume plastic knob cover did stop clicking down, 2 weeks into having the speakers. I just take it off to click the metal knob underneath and change the audio mode. Bluetooth is awesome. The aux is responsive but there is a small delay in audio like 100ms. Roughly 100 decibels up close and 80-90 from ten feet away. When in Bluetooth, connection distance is like around 20-30 meters I believe. Speakers sound very clear and are perfect for laptop use. Great value for money, competes with soundbars of similar price. Small and do not take up too much space. Switching between modes is easy.

Nice little speakers
Sound Quality:For their size, the speakers sound good. There is some bass, but don't expect a lot. You won't be feeling it in your chest. I'll be doing more listening and may update this in the future.Build Quality:The speakers are nicely built. The left speaker has no exposed screws, not even on the drivers themselves. The left speaker is attached to the right by a permanently attached cable that terminates in a RCA connection. I wish the cable wasn't permanently attached. This would allow for easier replacement if needed in the future, as well as the ability to replace it with a longer cable if needed. The plate amp is simple enough. The only downside is that it uses a micro USB connection to connect to a PC. This is an outdated connection, and there is room to use a USB-C connection instead. Not a big deal really.Controls:The controls on the side are recessed, but the knobs stick out a bit. This makes the right speaker a little wider overall than the left. For my use, this isn't a big deal, but I thought I'd mention it. Speaking about the controls, there are two types of volume control when it comes to Bluetooth. The first is where the device's (speaker) volume is separate from the Bluetooth (phone) volume. The second is where they control each other and are not separate. These speakers are in the second group. If you turn up or down the volume on the speakers you will see the volume change on your phone.Overall:Overall, I like these speakers. I got them on sale, and they're a good value for the price. In the future, I might buy the larger ones, which I'm sure will have more bass.Pros:Good sound quality for the sizeNicely builtSimple plate ampVolume control linked to Bluetooth deviceCons:Permanently attached cableMicro USB connectionControls on the side stick out a bitOverall:I would recommend these speakers to anyone looking for a good pair of small bookshelf speakers for a reasonable price. They're not the biggest or the most powerful speakers, but they sound good for their size.I hope this is helpful!

So far so good
Wanted an affordable set of speakers to replace my desktop speakers that finally stopped working after probably 15 years or more. These fit the bill. I'm not audiophile by any stretch but they sound good enough for me. Definitely better than my old ones. They look nice and seem to be made well.

Probably Great (!) For a Bookshelf, NOT FOR A DESKTOP!
These speakers are really BOOM-Y for my taste. "Bookshelf" is the correct use for these. Desktop is VERY MUCH not. The Amazon ad shows them on a desktop, which is how I tried to use them, and almost immediately, they hurt my brain. Sitting that close to them, every other instrument goes away and you're suddenly right inside the bass player's cabinet and turning down the bass doesn't help. Do like the instructions say, start the bass and treble out at "0," and pay attention to which direction +5 and -5 is because you don't want to dial both in the same direction. I decided to treat them like they were both sub-woofers. I put them both under my desk, one on the carpet and the other in the foam cradle it got shipped in, dialed the treble all the way up and the bass all the way down. it's tamed now, although I'm wondering if I'll regret not just sending them back. I just can't tell if anything else on Amazon is even worse Chinese crap, and which I might like better at triple the price so I'll stick with these. I'm basing my decision on the performance of my recent Amazon purchases, like the Magnasonic Projection Alarm Clock I bought last September which has already gone irretrievably belly up 10 months later, and the fact that I've had to buy 3 Bluetooth transmission/receiver devices for every 1 that has lasted more then 3 months. So I since these seem well made, and I've found a work-around, I'm probably going to try my luck with these.
