I grow my own Cayenne peppers primarily to make a pepper sauce. As the season is winding down I came up short on the amount that I needed to make my last batch. I decided to try these peppers to give me the quantity that I needed. I used a 1 to 4 ratio dried to fresh and the results were outstanding. I will definitely be a repeat customer!As an aside, I would like to see Valley of Tea offer larger quantities preferably equal to ounces. 4 and 8 would be ideal for me :)

These little peppers pack a surprising amount of heat and are definitely spicier than the cayenne powder you'll find at most stores. Can be ground up and used for all sorts of things from seasoning food to making your own topical pain relief ointment. I've also used it in herbal tea blends when I have a cold to help get the congestion moving. Good product, I would buy it again.

These you cannot find in the supermarket. They are great and hot.

Spicy, tasted great; from a cayenne pepper I would expect a hotter/spicier flavor

I wanted more whole. I was told some would be chopped, all of them were chopped.

Arrived crushed and pulverized and did not smell like cayenne pepper.

One little pepper gives a nice punch!
