Power up high beams performance
I installed this SS3 pro to Crosstrek 2016 with the following configuration.Under this configuration ,when head lights high beams turn on the SS3 also turn on.This system is helpfull to concentrate the steering control and get amazing bright lights when it's need quickly at winding night road. Also no routing the switch cable into the driving space is need.Configuration:(1)Diode Dynamics Stage Series 3in SAE/DOT White Pro Standard LED Pod (pair), SAE/DOT Driving(2)Diode Dynamics DD6352: SS3 Lens PC Driving Yellow for use as Yellow driving or white driving(3)Nilight - 10016W 16AWG DT Connector Wiring Harness Kit used for the SS3 harness without ON-Off-Switch(delete ON Off Switch) Input +12V of head lights high beams to relay instead of the On-Off-Switch using (6)(7)(4)16 AWG 2 conductor wire Power Cable Audio Cable Speaker Wire (Red & Black) UL certification used for extending DT Connector Wiring Harness(5)DT SERIES CONNECTORS:2 Pin 16-20AWG used for extending DT Connector Wiring Harness(6)HB3(9005) Connector Male and Female Make the connector cable and installed between original HB3 bulb and original connector using this to take out the +12v of high beam.(7)110 type Connector Male This connector is same type of (3)'s On-Off-Switch connect to harness. I can't imagine finding a same sized light that is as bright!
I replaced some 4" KC LZR LED's with these Diode Dynamics Pro level driving lens lights, and they are easily 3 times as bright.I have some huge 6" KC LED Slimlites on a SSD Rally light bar for long range visibilty, and these are not as bright as them, but I am using these lights as ditch lights of sort. I wanted to be able to light up the sides of the road where deer like to hang out.I replaced my OEM foglights with Diode Dynamics SS3's, so I already knew how great the quality of their lights were, and these Pro level version didn't let me down. Great lights for the size, perfect for where I needed them.

Super Duper addition to my JP Speaker headlights
Upgraded my 1993 Jeep Cherokee with JP Speaker led headlights. Added the Diode Dynamics fog lights and wow! Fills everything below the headlights from sidewalk to sidewalk. Can be used in town and they stay out of peoples' eyes. No more surprises when pedestrians step in front of you at night.

Motorcycle mounted
These lights were mounted on my 2021 road glide and I couldn’t be more happy with their performance! If you do night rides-I strongly recommend these lights.

Brighter than my Stock Headlights!
Edit: if you have a gmrs radio and you plan to put the ghost antenna near the light, it causes severe interference with reception, the further you put away the antenna the better but it emits a lot of RFIf you are looking for Offroad lights, these do not disappoint. After looking at videos and comparing these to the sport and which pattern to choose from, I decided to get the pros and get the SAE/DOT Driving pattern. Used them on trails or as a secondary highbeam, beware though they are very bright and if you have signs around, you or your passenger will get blinded by them!

Toyota 4Runner brackets?
These are not a universal light kit. Came with mounting brackets for what I assume by the pics in the directions for a Toyota 4Runner. Nothing in the description says these are vehicle specific. Nothing in the box or the part number suggest anything related to a 4Runner. Now I have to spend another $56.00 to buy mounting brackets? Lame.

Very nice light that just isn't bright enough for the money
I really, really wanted to like these lights (bought directly thru DD). I bought 4 of them for $700. Two SS3 SAE White Max fog lights; One SS3 SAE/DOT White Pro driving light (high beam); and one SS5 White Sport spot pattern. Even though they are different sizes and Pro vs Max vs Sport they all draw 35-40 watts so they are all putting out roughly similar lumens (a simplification I realize). The SS3's do this with 4 led's. The SS5's do it with 9 led's. The build quality on all of them appears quite good. The beam patterns on all of them are excellent. No issues so far. My problem is the amount of light that they throw. On receiving them I took them out to a nearby state park to check them out. Again ... very clean patterns but I was completely underwhelmed with their brightness. I had purchased a $30 set of 3" lights a couple years ago that I had never mounted. They're unusual in that they have a spot pattern ... something rare for cheap chinese lamps. I had taken them with me & was able to compare them with the 5" DD spot pattern light. They were less bright and not nearly as precise in their pattern but they weren't completely blown out of the water either. For the price difference ... they are not bad at all (not sold on Amazon anymore). While testing these I realized I also happened to have a Sofirn SP70 flashlight with me. It's a very good light but it isn't extraordinary by any means (~$80 on Amazon). It uses ONE very good led emitter. After being disheartened with the DD performance I did a quick comparison between the flashlight and both the 5" spot and the 3" driving lamp. To my shock the flashlight was pretty much on par with both of the DD lights. The majority of the light from the flashlight is focused in the center but it's designed to have a fair bit of 'spill'. The patterns thus aren't identical but overall the light output by my estimation was pretty much equal between the three. I couldn't believe my eyes. When I got home I hooked the SS5 spot up to a good jumppack and shone it at my living room ceiling along with my flashlight ... See the attached picture. The SS5 is on the right. The flashlight is on the left. The dimmer lighting surrounding the spot is from the flashlight. As you can see the flashlight is extremely competitive with the SS5. I don't know how that is possible but it is what it is. I am fairly disappointed. I will keep all of the lights but whether I'll buy any more ... that's another question. On the positive side I had two shipping mistakes while getting the order fulfilled. In both circumstances when DD realized their error they promptly corrected things and I was good to go. So ... they seem a good company but as there are clearly much more powerful LED chips available ... why oh why aren't they using them??? I've dithered on rating these either 2 or 3 stars. I'm going with the higher rating only because of the SAE limitation.

Lot of glare
I am writing about there fog lights. They are bright but do not have proper cut off line. They have lot of glare, which bothers oncoming traffic.
