Good budget bench supply, one quirk
I’ve been using it almost daily for several weeks, and I have to say it’s quite good for the price. It’s a bit more accurate than my previous one, voltage stays pretty steady under load, and the 2Amp USB on the front is a nice bonus. From my limited experience (and without digging through the internals) it seems like a pretty standard power supply, but a well-engineered one. I even like that the off/on switch is on the back of the unit, because that makes it less likely that I’ll turn it on by accident. I really only have one notable gripe, but I do think it’s important to be aware of this before buying. For my purposes it’s just an odd quirk, but for some applications I could see it being a substantial concern. The whole unit actually stays powered and continues to produce the full output for about ten seconds before actually turning off, regardless of whether you flip the on/off switch or unplug it from the wall. At least the screen stays on too so that you have a visual warning. Overall, I’m glad I bought it. Would buy again if I needed another budget power supply.

Works Like A Champ
This charger has been running non-stop without any issues for over 4 days while I top balance my new LiFePO4 cells. This charger/power supply is a beast. It's only slightly warm and the fan hasn't even kicked on yet. Granted, I'm charging with low wattage, but I'm impressed by its ability to stay cool. There are two features that really swayed me to this particular power supply. The first is the coarse and fine adjustments. This feature seems to only be found on the pricier power supplies. The second feature I really liked was that it showed watts. While this isn't exactly critical to know, it's definitely useful to see it on a screen without having to break out a calculator. This unit also came with the standard wires with alligator clips. No complaints there. They appear to be good quality and work as they're intended. When you consider the price of this unit and the features it has, it's a bargain. It's also pretty accurate. Only .003 volts difference between what's on the screen and what I measured with my multimeter. Oh..... to top it off, Kung Kungber gives you a lifetime warranty. So yeah, zero complaints, accurate, great features and a warranty. I highly recommend this power supply.

First one was shorted, second one works great
They get a one-star dink for the first unit being defective (it was shorted internally and never got off Constant Current mode), but it was quickly and easily replaced (thanks Amazon Prime) and the new unit works great. The dials are a bit fiddly to get just exactly right, but it gets close enough and stays set very well. To save everyone time, here's the TLDR on how to set it up for use: 1. Turn on, set what maximum voltage (Constant Voltage mode) you want the supply to provide using the "V" dials. Do not mess with the "A" dials. 2. Once voltage is dialed in, clip the two leads to each other (minor spark sometimes when that happens) and use the "A" dials to set what the maximum amperage (Constant Current mode). Do not mess with the "V' dials. 3. Disconnect the leads from each other and you're all set to connect your load. If your load draws less amperage than your supply's max setting, it will provide the maximum voltage (Constant Voltage mode) until the current limit is reached, then it will flip to provide the maximum amperage (Constant Current mode) and decrease voltage to match the load's requirements at that current. As an example, for testing I connected a 12V, 6A Peltier cooler plate to it, setting the voltage to 12, but limiting the amperage to only 600 mils. It ran fine, did some minor cooling on one side and minor heating on the other, and only drew about 1.8V while doing so, having hit the amp limit. On a second test, I connected a 12V computer case fan to it, setting the voltage to 12V and the current to 500 mils, but since the fan only wanted ~180 mils for max speed, it simply stayed in Constant Voltage mode and provided 12V/180mA. The reason I mention not messing with the other dial during configuration is that while disconnected (Voltage setting) or shorted (Amperage setting), the display only shows the changes being made to that setting, but BOTH SETS OF KNOBS still can change their respective settings. That is, you can dial the amperage setting up while in voltage set mode but you won't know what the new setting is as it won't display it - this can be very dangerous to you and your load if you then connect your load assuming the amperage was limited to what you'd set earlier. Overall, a nice little bench power supply.

Great performance for the money.
Highly accurate power supply. My yellow meter is actually showing a difference because of a fault with the meter itself. I’ve used it to test hid headlamps, 12 volt coolant pump charged a agm battery with it. The leads are of good length seem to be great quality with minimal voltage drop. The fan seems to be thermostatically controlled rather than on all the time which is nice. It’s light weight and was packaged very well. I also used it for about an hour straight the other night to calibrate fuel ratios in my diesel heater and it performed flawlessly. I highly recommend it for anyone that has taken up a hobby that needs a variable power supply that can do cc and cv. After having this for a while I can say with certainty that it’s a great supply. I’ve used it to charge a multitude of special batteries and supply power for various electronics testing including hid headlights when building them and aiming the projector in the housing. It’s seen pretty constant use and hasn’t given any issues at all.

buon alimentatore leggero compatto e preciso consigliato
