Bushnell Medalist Laser Rangefinder, Glossy White

The Bushnell Medalist Laser rangefinder worked great! Easy to use, accurate and I preferred the horizontal sighting position as opposed to a vertical. Great buy for the money. uses the square 9 volt battery instead of the more expensive coin shape camera type. Checked it's accuracy against several of my friends rangefinders and it was spot on!

Have only had it for a couple of rounds, but has been perfectly accurate every time. Use it vs. my buddy's sky caddie and since I can zero in on the pin I can get more exact yardages. Can also get yards to trees and some hazards as well. Yardages come up quickly. I use it almost exclusively in pin seeker mode. Will have to see how long battery lasts, but it uses 9-volt battery so not too worried. But it works great so far.

This rangefinder works great for me. It is very user friendly and with the pin seek option, it is hard to miss your target. My son was in town recently and as we played our round I compared yardages with his more expensive Bushnell and there were pretty much identical. Very happy with this purchase.

Works great but the batter life is rather poor. The power button is easily hit so unless you are very careful when storing it the batter runs out after a week or two regardless of how much golf you play

I personally love it. I played a tournament fundraiser for my son's high school golf team yesterday and used it for the first time. I had no idea how badly we had been estimating distances to the pin until using this range finder. One example is a par five with a pond in front of the green. They had hazard flags at the front and back of the pond so I was able to determine there was no way I was gettin over it, so I got a reading of 184yds, pulled out my 175yd club and swung it nice and smoothe. The ball dissapeared over a small slope and I was sure I was wet. When we got up there I was laying in the fairway about fifteen feet from the front of the pond (it just doesn't get any better than that). I was worried about all the reviews saying it was hard to hold steady. True to an extent. I found it best to pull up beside the ball and shoot from the cart sitting down. I also made sure when shooting the top of the pin to get the same reading three times, and then I was confident I was getting the right reading. The battery door problem. When I first put the battery in the wire was running over the top of the battery and the door did seem like it was going to be a problem. But I opened it back up and took some care in getting it tucked in right, and wala no problem whatsoever. It felt like it poped in properly and I really don't believe there is any way it is poping off, so I think all these door problems stem from people not smart enough to take their time and do it right. So in the end after one round I am totally satisfied with this range finder. I found all of the complaints I read to be due to incompetent use, so that is my experience, you can make up your own mind. And don't forget that I have sent a few things back in the past and Amazon has refunded my money with no questions asked in every instance, so give it a try just make sure you buy from Amazon.

I really like the simplicity and accuracy of this rangefinder. The pinseeker feature dials in the distance to the pin quickly. There are no subscription fees or course downloads required. My golfing buddies have Sky Caddie type devices and they only provide back, center, and front of green distances. They have to position the pin where they think it is on the green to get an estimated distance. Granted this does not give you a panaramic view of the hole, but like me, I think most golfers play the same group of courses most of the time, so they already know the hole layouts. I also like that this is held horizontally like binoculars, which is easier to keep steady. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a laser rangefinder.

I actually love this product and I use it golfing. It was a great buy... but my one star is for Amazon.com whom I bought it from. So since I can not rate the sender, I'm forced to rate the product. I really like this rangefinder. The brighter the color, the easier it is for this rangefinder to locate it. Infact, I was able to pick up the distance of a train that was over 1500 yards away! Of course the carts were white, but I was highly impressed with it. I would give the product a 4 1/2 star. It's worth the buy.Now to the seller. I like Amazon and I purchase alot of items from them. But with this particular item the battery that came with it didn't work. Its not a huge deal and cost me 5 extra bucks, but when you are spending over 250 dollars on such an item, you expect everything in the package to work. So this for Amazon whom I am extremely disappointed in for the inconvience they cost me.

I purchased this on Amazon based on 1) reviews & 2) price. This is very handy & easy to use. The "pin seeker" is great. But if you're anything like me -I just don't have a totally steady hand - then it takes 3 or 4 shots at the flag to get the pin distance. But also, simply turn off the "pin seeker" and shoot the font of the green, or the top of a sand trap, or anything/everything else around the green.Now when I'm at a driving range, I am getting a better feel for the distances of each of my clubs by shooting the distance of each of their markers.It's also pretty durable: I dropped it on to the cart path and only the battery cover popped off. Clipped it back, and it still works great.I you're contemplating getting one of these then I recommend this one - Medalist.

Great product we use it to measure distances from Marine Mammals

Cumple muy bien y me ha permitido bajar dos o tres pancadas el par de un campo de 9 agujeros. Fácil de utilizar y me parece muy robusto.

Pensavo che questo telemetro fosse ottimo come un altro della bushnell che mi è stato sottratto dalla sacca da golf, invece il suo sistema di puntamento non è all'altezza dell'altro quando si tratti di puntare, ad esempio, bandiere che si muovono per il vento. Ciò è dovuto alla sua lentezza nell'azione di acquisizione del bersaglio. Se il bersaglio è immobile, o non è troppo piccolo, o se si è in possesso di una mano fermissima, è ottimo altrimenti..... Con il precedente telemetro ero in grado di puntare e acquisire l'asta di una bandiera a 200 metri, con questo, invece, gli inevitabili tremori delle mani mi permettono di acquisire soltanto le distanze degli oggetti più grandi sullo sfondo dell'asta della bandiera.

Für den Preis genial. Erfüllt genau seinen Zweck. Ich habe das Teil inzwischen seit fast einem Jahr in Gebrauch. Größe und Gewicht sind gerade so das ich mit meinem Tatter die Fahne noch gut rein bekomme. Messgenauigkeit ist auch prima. Ich musste nach ca. 100 Runden die Batterie wechseln, finde ich auch ok. Alles in Allem und gerade in Relation zum Preis bin ich absolut Begeistert und würde das Gerät immer wieder kaufen.

Excellent range finder and super value for money. Don't waste your money on more expensive range finders when this one returns an accurate yardage just as quickly as the more expensive bushnells
