How many times have I gone camping or stopped at a freeway rest stop and the water was turned off? This Stillcock water key comes with four square sockets 1/4", 9/32", 5/16", and 11/32" that a hexagonal socket wrench can't open or close. My water meter has a big key to shut off the whole house. But there's another valve in my crawl space that has no knob, handle or wheel. Sometimes you need to turn off a toilet that doesn't stop running. Sometimes you are many miles from drinkable water and the water is still turned off from winter. The key allows you to get some water and turn it back off. This Sillcock water key is very well made of stainless steel. It doesn't take up a whole lot of space. Why did I buy two? One in my tool box and one in by car's glove compartment -- Just in case.

This is the perfit fit utility tool to turn water on and off in the comon area of my condo. It was a great vale at half the price of a different product at the store. I like the design and durability and ease of use provided by the tool utility. Great to have around for the unknow future situation you may find yourself in.

Basic tool that can operate the spigots in our townhouse complex. I am not a prepper who needs an extravagant 128-way key to open any Silcock valves I encounter in a post-apocalyptic world. I am just trying to water our plants and occasionally hose down the porch, and this tool does the job at a good price.
