Great Can Opener
This is a great gadget that every household should have one.So simple to use I ordered my mum-in- law one too as she finds it hard to use her manual can opener as arthritis troubles her.Arrived super quick in a well packaged box. All you need is 4 x AA batteries and you’re ready to go.There are cheaper ones you can buy but for a couple quid more this can opener is the one to go for. No sharp edges left on the lid or can, so really safe from getting your fingers cut. There are different colours available, great for blending in with your kitchen.

Easy Safe can lid remover
Easy to use, no fiddling around trying to get it latched onto the lid. Doesn’t always take the lid with it when it’s done, but it’s totally safe to hold the lid and chuck it in the bin. With arthritic hands and weak wrists, this is an ideal kitchen gadget.

Helpful.
Great buy, especially if you have arthritis and find an ordinary can opener a struggle. This makes life so much easier and is a really useful kitchen aid. Would recommend it.

Works Brilliantly — Just Read the Instructions!
The media could not be loaded. Sadly, there are a few reviews saying this can opener doesn’t work. Honestly, most of those complaints likely come from people who didn’t read the instructions or struggled to grasp how it operates — probably not the right angle for “Bob.”This device is fantastic and will quickly become your girlfriend’s new Bob.But there are a few key things to be aware of:1. Starting Bob: Place the opener on the can and press the button — don’t hold it in place. Let Bob do the work. I saw a video review where someone completely misused it, clearly without reading any instructions.2. Stopping Bob: To turn it off, press the button again and wait 2–3 seconds. It stops on its own.3. Short Skirts Warning: If the can has a very short “skirt” (the curled edge), Bob might struggle. You may have to restart it once or twice. I only ran into this issue once, with a John West mackerel ring-pull tin.Aside from that, it’s a beast — cleanly opening cans by separating the lid at the curl. I've tested it on baked beans, tuna, corned beef, and fillet tins. Only one tin gave it trouble, and even then, it nearly managed it.Why I bought it: Every manual can opener I've ever had eventually failed — working once or twice, then twisting out of shape or just becoming useless. This thing works every time.Highly recommended. Just follow the instructions and Bob will never let you down.

Kitchen Mama can opener. Stopped working properly - not good enough for an expensive item.
Good to start with. Used occasionally. Stopped working properly after just over two years. Expect better of an expensive can opener.

Easy and safe to use
Why did you choose this product over others?:I had one before for a couple of years and it stopped cutting so I bought another one. It is so easy to use and it doesn't leave any sharp edges which is great if you have curious toddlers around.

Love it.
This fascinated me watching it work, it did a good job, didn’t take the lid off with it but I could lift it easily & there were no sharp edges. I don’t use tins very often but when I do need a can opener I always struggle to use a normal can opener due to arthritis in my hands. I wish I’d bought one before.
