Sant Eustachio Espresso Ground Coffee in Can 8.8oz/250g

The flavor is medium strong and a touch nutty - delicious!

My favorite coffee in the world.

I grew up in Italy and start every morning with cappuccino. This is the most flavorful and least acidic espresso I have found in the U.S. I first drank it years ago in Rome at the Caffe Sant'Eustachio, where Romans flock to have coffee. I was ecstatic to find it available here! Now I no longer have to beg visitors to Rome to bring home bags of beans for me.

Tastes great, but it's not always available or it takes long to receive it after ordering.

Not sure if it worth its price but the coffee is very good. There are some other Italian coffee brands on the market available at cheaper price, so it is hard to say that this coffee is much better but you will get very high quality product for certain.

I grew up with sant'eustachio and I can't fathom why this is so different from the original. It's weak and flavorless, while the real thing is so thick and flavorful that you can stick a spoon into it and it will stand as the locals say. Are we getting expired grind? I guess I have to return to the birth place of sant'eustachio (mine as well incidentally ).

I have been addicted to Sant' Eustachio since I went to the cafe in Roma. I bought some cans there and brought home to the US with me and fortunately had friends who were frequently traveling to Italy and were able to continue my supply from afar. I would also find imports in New York City on occasion. When this became available online I was so excited and ordered 4 right away. I had a small amount left of my imported grind (hand delivered from Roma), and noticed that this version does not has the same taste/flavor as the grind that I have gotten in the past. Just my personal observation. But, I am back to my Illy instead of this.

I normally use cream in my coffee, however this coffee is so smooth, flavorful, and delicious I am drinking it black. The extra bonus is no calories from creme!!!!
