Bough to expand my little business with the intent of printing my custom images, so I know I'm expecting a lot from a home/office printer, but all other reviews seemed really good..Pros: Excellent ink capacity. Really easily to set up. Really neat machine - smaller than expected. Quiet and quick that expected to print, even on high quality settings.Cons: So far the print quality has been intermittent at best, despite repeatedly cleaning nozzles and aligning the print heads (see picture) the black ink doesnt seem to want to kick in properly. Hopefully this was just the machine bedding in, but time will tell! For such an expensive home printer I was expecting better, if I'm honest. In the end leaving it alone for 2 days seems to have done the trick. I'll update this review if problems persist.UPDATE:It's awful at printing on the photo setting - thats where all of those washed out grey tones are coming from. If I send my images through the best quality DOCUMENT setting all of the issues are resolved. Not ideal, but definitely workable.

I bought this printer for my husbands birthday I received it on 16.04.2024I set it up with the help of an it technicianI put paper in the front feed and photo paper in the back the printer showed up an error thatSaid put paper in rear feedI used the Epson App and put in Automatic it still kept showing the same messageI phoned Epson and was sold to clean the paper tray same message popped up and the girl asked to check if there was paper jammedIt wouldn't print if paper was jammedI had to give it a nozzle clean a horizontal and vertical allianmentWhat a jokeThen today phoned Epson up spike to a guy called EmrHe took all my details over and over kept spelling my name wrongHe said he would fix the errorHe went on to ask what the serial number was thats under the printer full up with inkI repeated that serial number 5 times then he went on to say oh you got it in AprilI said yes he said he'd get the printer picked up and they would give me a refurbished printer oh yes I paid top buck to get a second hand machineI told him I only bought it less than 4 weeks ago full price and you want me to accept a refurbished printer then he asked me to send him a copy of my invoiceCustomers stay clear of EpsonThe worst customer service I've ever in all my 66 years on this earth 🌎 he couldn't even tell me what year this printer was manufactured whats this guy getting paid for ???

I use this to print for dye sublimation and it is fantastic.The screen is useful for setting up, which is simple to do, and changing settings, selecting cleaning heads etc.Having A3 is useful as is the scanner.

Sometimes when I want A3 A4 is printed, A bit annoying but I can Live with this. I decided to buy this printer for two reasons no expensive Ink Cartridges, ( less expensive to buy ink) and this was one of the best buys for an A3 printer.I am very happy with it but as always with everything 'time will tell'.

when you get it working it prints and scans well.needs a very strong wifi signal. had to buy a wifi extender which I had to plug in next to the printer.

Christmas gift for wife uses it daily without complant she loves it

This is a very good printer and I have had many since the 80's. The print quality is good to very good, not exactly sure as the setup process seems a bit tedious with too many options so I may not have chosen the right ones so will try again at some point. Not sure about tech support as it's too early to say. The touch screen is clear and generally works well, could have been a touch larger and at times seems too sensitive but this may be due to the cramped options in the display. Great that it does A3 but I'm not happy about not being able to remove the A4 paper tray which seems a tad flimsy for my liking. The swivelling control panel is good so you don't have to crouch to read/operate the display. I purchased this because I got fed up with paying for over priced disposable toner cartridges. An expensive purchase for an inkjet but I suspect the savings on ink/toner cartridges will be worth it. Epson have supplied a new scanning software which I assume is meant to replace the older Epson twain app. Unfortunately Epson Scan 2 is ridiculously tedious to use if you want to do more than a basic scan. You have to do a scan then it takes three button presses to reach the advanced settings. To view an adjustment you have to do a preview scan every time! Seriously Epson, My recollections of the old Epson twain is a control panel where you could view and select any option which previewed onscreen by adjusting your first scan image without a zillion preview scans!
