Beethoven’s first 4 symphonies

It landed on my doorstep the day before I needed it for class, I had ordered it Friday and needed it Monday. So that was awesome. Beethoven is always great, as a second horn I appreciate having to go all around my range within the span of one measure. Got an A on my conducting exam, that I needed this for.

In my opinion L.V. Beethoven's symphonies are the greatest symphonies ever written. This is the first book of three books that contain all of Beethoven's 9 amazing symphonies in Full-Score. I have yet to find any errors and they are very usefull for score study or playing one or two parts on the piano.I recomend all three volumes as Beethoven's symphonies become even more amazing as they evolve into the ninth symphony that in my opinion is unrivaled in the Late Classical Period.

I love dover publications! They do quality work. I dislike that they print the upc and "lay flat sown binding" on the cover. This is superfluous information and rather interrupts the otherwise artful display of the cover on both the front and back.They used to print them without the oval at the top right!

Came in good condition. Large, nice to read. There aren't any bar(measure) numbers, so it's hard to reference, but you can just write it in yourself (though it takes a long time and mis counting once would ruin everything). There are mistakes here and there, but nothing appalling.I didn't expect much from a Dover score. It was worth my money.

I love the sewn binding and the scores are very affordable!

This is a handy sized score, easy to read and comfortable to handle. It also lays flat. The only downside, but it's nothing a little effort cannot resolve is the lack of bar numbers.

The Dover complete scores of Beethoven symphonies, is easy to read, and comprehend. I can follow the music, that is on a cd, or streaming, with ease. The printing is clear. It is a must for anyone, who can read music, and get more out of the music. the only problem with these scores, is that they are heavy, and need a table to sit on. Your lap is going to get numb. That is the only drawback. I have been purchasing Dover music scores for over thirty years. Most of them is Chamber Music.I have in my music score library, Schirmer, and Peters editions. Although, I like them well, it's the Dover editions that I go to, whenever I am at home.
