Sleek, Stylish and Functional
The brand on the box is Pelonis. It is described as a “2 in 1 Ceramic Tower and Baseboard Heater”. The model is NTH15-17BRA. The manufactured date was November, 2019. It has an ETL Listed Intertek mark 3068797 and states that it conforms to UL STD. 1278 which is for “Movable and Wall-or Ceiling-Hung Electric Room Heaters”. I did go to the Intertek site, and it is properly listed. It also has a listing for CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 46 and No. 113 and complies with UL507.Contents of the box include the heater, an instruction book, and a Pelonis card related to a extending your warranty. The heater itself has a twist tie on the cord and a dust cover bag. Once out of the bag, the remote is bagged and taped in place. There is a plastic battery separator to pull for the battery to touch the contacts; pretty typical. The control panel has a clear, protective film to prevent scratches. The remote buttons and tower control panel buttons worked fine. All functions worked as expected and I think the product listing describes them accurately so I’m not going to go into detail. The only thing I wanted to mention is that the thermostat is in 5 degree increments. There is a 15 second countdown when you shut off the heater which I assume is to allow the fans to cool the elements a bit.In terms of heat, on the high wattage setting, it cranks out some heat. It works well as a space heater for a small living room. The medium heat setting also puts out a reasonable amount of heat. The lowest “ECO” setting works for a small bedroom. Oscillation does work, but it’s not a wide swath. It’s a difficult thing to measure, but don’t expect 150 degrees or even 120 degrees. Probably closer to 75 degrees. The intake panel is removable and has a thick foam to catch some larger debris and dust. This is not an air filter and just intended to keep the heater elements a bit cleaner. In terms of noise, this heater is relatively quiet. Don’t expect it to be whisper quiet, but with background TV noise and sitting on the couch, it was not noticeable.Overall, the look of this heater is sleek. It looks good standing up as a tower heater, but also looks very nice as a baseboard heater. Since it acts as both a tower and baseboard heater, it cannot have tip over protection. Be aware of that fact and I recommend having it laid down in a baseboard position if you have a large dog and leave this on when you’re not home.I will post a follow-up review to this first impression once I have spent more time with this heater.

Great heater, worth the price!
*NOTE - The manufacturer is reimbursing me for this product for the purpose of writing an honest review*Got this heater yesterday and spent a few hours putting it to the test. A couple of things came to mind right away: - It's sturdy. I bumped into it a few times (I'm a bit clumsy) and it never knocked over. I'm not saying it will withstand a German Shepherd crashing into it, but it will stay upright if you accidentally hit it. - Whisper quiet. You can barely hear it when it is on. Very comforting. The heater does its job well. It heats up quickly and is a good source. My wife was on the couch about seven feet away from it and felt the heat immediately. Up close it is great. You can still feel the heat from at least 10 feet away. The remote control is a new feature for me on a portable heater. It has a slot on the top back of the the unit to store the remote so you won't misplace it with all your other remotes. The remote function is easy to use, although at first I didn't understand that the power off takes 15 seconds to complete (I didn't read the instruction manual). In summary, this is a good unit and worth the price. If you have a small room it will serve you well. We plan to use it in our living room as a spot heater to keep us toasty while we watch TV.

Nice and toasty warm!
I held off on submitting this until I had used the heater for a few weeks on and off. When I first received it, it tested well, and was nice and warm. After using it, it does a great job heating a single room (where I work from home) to make it more than tolerable to be cooped up. My only complaints are that the temperature can't be set by single-degree increments/decrements, but rather by 5° at a time, and that the thermostat seems to be off by about 8°. (It thinks it's colder than it is.) There really isn't a way to adjust for the first, but the second I can just subtract 8 (or rather, 10) from the temperature I want to set it to.The timer is great, and lets me make sure I don't leave it on when work is over - the remote is handy as I can turn it on or set it from a distance, though you can't see the timer from across the room (or the temperature for that matter) when setting it.In fan mode, the rotation helps move the air around, but when heating it doesn't seem to work as well (though that might just be because the heat always goes up?)It would be nice if there were different fan _speeds_ rather than on/off with the two (three, counting fan-only) different heating rates, as well.Overall, it's great - I give it 5 Stars. The "it would be nice if it had" are just things I wish were there, but would probably raise the costs and make it less desirable price-wise. In the end, it's up to the buyer - but I thought I'd let you know what it doesn't have at the same time as stating what it does have.It keeps me warm on cold mornings - that's what I bought it for.

Works great, quiet
We currently have no gas, so I bought one of these to heat my room and ended up buying two more for my family. They are small, quiet, and pack enough power to heat up a large room quite quickly for the size. Honestly, it heats the room up so well and fast for its size that I was surprised, I expected a lot less.No issues and seems very safe. I wasn't looking for a ton of features (I never read manuals, I'm a 'set it and forget it' kinda person) or fancy add-ons - I just wanted something easy to keep me toasty while I work from home and this unit does the trick.Only downsides are that I wish I could change the temp in 1 degree increments rather than 5 degree, and it doesn't seem to oscillate. At the time I purchased (Oct/Nov 2020) they were priced at $56, and I think they are excellent for the price. I would repurchase at the current price.
