Amazing strings with an amazing story.
In all honesty, this is the first set of strings that actually made a real difference in the quality of the sound. It has all those amazing harmonics and overtones that you never find with long life strings. The company history is pretty cool too. I mean fricken Phil Everly! You won't go wrong.

but sound brilliant. I play a lot and they sound bright ...
The slightly lighter gage than normal light strings protects my vintage Martin D-18, but sound brilliant. I play a lot and they sound bright for a long time. Plenty of bass. These definitely do not sound like coated strings. I've tried other coated strings and couldn't stand them. I took them right off. These are the real deal - excellent sound, long life.

They used to be so good!
I used to swear by these strings for their tone and longevity. In phosphor bronze, they have a much warmer and deeper tone than Elixir Nanowebs, which I like for my Ovation. The first few sets I bought lasted for 7 or 8 months of occasional playing. When I got a job as a church music director, I expected that they would last 2 or 3 months, because I was playing much more regularly. The last few sets I've bought have lasted no more than six weeks. They still sound great, but it seems Cleartone's quality control has done downhill. I even had a couple strings break during a church service! My last set was tarnishing after 3 weeks. Needless to say, I have moved on, and am trying other string brands.

Awesome Acoustic Strings
I purchased these strings (11 Gauge) for my Seagull Artist Cameo after using both Polyweb and Nanoweb Elixirs in 10 Gauge. These strings are nicely packaged and color coded, unlike the Elixirs - you can tell a lot of quality was put into them. I will note that I upgraded from 10 gauge to 11 gauge, gut overall my guitar sounds entirely better. A considerable improve that makes me really enjoy playing more. SO much better! The 11 gauge, I feel, has a good balance between having a better tone, while also staying relatively easy on your fingers. I highly recommend these strings. I won't be going back to Elixirs.

Better for a softer sound not as loud as bronze ...
Strings seem ok other than slight discolouration on lighter strings not as bright as previous cheaper strings but warmer sound.Better for a softer sound not as loud as bronze strings.
