Mia the Way the Cupcake Crumbles (26) (Cupcake Diaries)

Good series
My 12 year old 7th grader to be is in love with this series. She reads a book in one day. Definitely recommend it to any parent that has a girly girl in their household. Another plus is that the book features middle school students as main character which I think makes it easy for readers of that age to relate to.

Fan Of This Series
A very good storyline is portayed here. Mia is superstitious, and as I am not, it is interesting to see how she looks at life. My only complaint is that Emma says that the Tooth Fairy isn't real. While these books are normally represented foe middle graders, they are appropriate for kids of all ages. I have no doubt that some child read this and read what Emma said about the tooth fairy. I don't like it when people talk about the books and their flaws on their reviews and still give a five star, but I think this book is too good to give anything less than five stars.

These are great books for pre-teen girls. The characters are all nice and look out for one another.

no people of color
This is a mediocre book. The writing is fine and the characters are one dimensional. There were also no people of color, which is disappointing.
