The adhesion is good. People complaining might not know how to do it. You have to make sure the surface is dry and apply it. Try to get the size and cutting before applying and paste correctly in 1st attempt itself as it will take the door paint and will affect adhesion in 2nd 3rdattempt. Press and hold it for some time and leave it for overnight. From next day use it and it works perfectly. I dint like the cost as for this length the price is too high.

Bought it for noise reduction under the door.Not too sure if it reduces any noise, but installation was super easy, and product was as described.
