Natural toothpaste, generally a great idea; but, I can’t recommend this one. Initially, while brushing and shortly thereafter, the taste of cloves, mint and more herbs wake up your tastebuds. But, after you are finished and out doing “life” this aftertaste creeps in. It is not a pleasant one. I am not even going to say what it tastes like but it had me reaching for a lot of water! I tried a second time thinking it may have been “something else”, a food I may have eaten or something. Noooooo, same nasty aftertaste within a half hour that takes on a taste of it’s own! All and all, I can say the initial brushing and taste was great; but I could not take the aftertaste! To be fair, maybe the aftertaste was just a personal thing and other people who use this product is not going to experience it. As for me, it hurt to toss an expensive toothepaste in the trash, but that was what I did! Lesson learned!

Love PerioScript, so I figured I’d try their toothpaste, especially since my dentist recommends it for the gentle abrasion of silica. This not only isn’t the formulation of PerioPaste with silica, but it’s mostly glycerine—if you’ve researched dental hygiene, you know glycerine stubbornly coats teeth, preventing salivary demineralization and decreasing oral health. It’s literally better to brush with water.Can’t return, so my order is now expensive trash.

I bought this toothpaste because I see a periodontist every six month and a dentist every six months, so I get my teeth cleaned every three months. I have tooth sensivity. I bought the toothpaste, mouthwash and the concentrate for the Hydrofloss. After three days of use, my teeth were sensitive. I had to stop using and brush with my floride toothpaste. I saw that my teeth seemed whitier, but it is not for everyday use. The taste is somewhat minty aftertaste, but the smell is pretty gross.

I like this toothpaste. I bought it for the great ingredients and to get away from chemicals in traditional toothpaste. After being accustomed to strong mint and very foamy toothpaste, this is definitely different. It is not totally foamless, but it's a very, very mild foam. There is a mild peppermint taste but it also tastes pretty "Herby" with the amount of herbs there are in it. It takes a little bit getting used to, but it eventually actually tastes good. I think if I went back to traditional toothpaste it would taste way too strong. The paste is kind of a tan color. I can't comment on any actual dental health quite yet because I haven't been to the dentist since I started using this, but it does leave my teeth feeling clean. Not sure about the natural whitening yet. Although it is expensive, it says the toothpaste is concentrated so you only need a pea sized. I like this toothpaste, and I will likely purchase again.

I love this. I'm glad Amazon has it because it's not everywhere. My teeth hurt from the cold so much- especially when I come in from the cold into a warm space. But this gel rubbed on my gums makes the pain either not come, and go away if it has come. It is really good. I will always have it on hand.

Love this product! No harmful ingredients, uses powerful, effective herhs and natural remedies that really work. Have used for years! When I've switched to other toothpaste, my gums get inflamed and start receding again if I'm off of it for awhile. It really works great for me. I keep the tube propped up, so the paste doesn't run out onto the counter. They don't add ingredients to thicken it that aren't healthy for you, so I don't mind the thinness of it.

Ordered two tubes, one was full at 4 ounces, one had maybe an ounce. Now to the taste and how it cleans.It is very strong on the palette and it takes some getting used to. If you have a sensitive mouth, not recommended. My opinion of how well it cleaned was good. Mouth feels fresh and teeth squeaky clean.

Since using this toothpaste, my gum looks healthier and areas that were receding seems to be closing up. It’s natural taste is great. It leaves your teeth feeling as tho you just came out of the dentist’s office after getting teeth cleaned! The only complain I have is the cap. They should make it a twist off cap. Current cap is lousy - hard to open and close and messy. Pls change to twist off caps! With a twist off cap rating would be 5 stars!
