This is the gorgeous pineapple bamboo I purchased 4 years ago and look how pretty it still is plus the growth has sprouted longer leaves. 4 years and going… that says it all!!!

The Bamboo lasts longer than flowers. The receiver mentioned that her bamboo plant was very beautiful and enjoyed it very much. Much better gift than flowers.

As advertised. Overall I am happy with the purchase and I would recommend to others.Drawbacks: I did have one stock that became yellow after a week and it was easy to remove it without affecting the overall look. I also noticed some light yellow leaves which I removed.Initially I thought the green color was a bit pale. I bought some lucky bamboo liquid fertilizer and added a few drops every other day. It now looks much greener and healthier.Update: second picture is from Jun 17, 2021. It is thriving. Only one stem turned yellow a few days after they arrived and I removed it.Update: last picture is from Sep 3, 2023

I have purchased 3 of this bamboo’s plants for myself and gifts. Always come very well packaged and in great condition. I purchased a 4th one and I was VERY dissapointed. Not only was very poorly packaged (didn’t have the water gel beads to keep if fresh) but the plant is half the size in diameter and the length of the stalks. I’ve attached a picture of one I bought previously and to the right is the new one. As you can see the glass vases are the same, see how much smaller this new one is. In addition, the plant looks yellow ( more yellow than the picture). After contacting the seller, they said, sorry no returns or exchanges and all the plants are small now. I can understand how supplies might change, but don’t be deceiving when advertising something and be upfront with the size since you are not going to allow exchanges or returns. Also, if you are not going to allow returns, then you must make sure that the plant you are selling is not a sick yellow awful plant. I will contest this purchase with Amazon and hoping they will back me up. As for now, I do NOT recommend this item or this seller, don’t waste your money and avoid disappointment.

Bamboo is very fun to have I probably need to trim mine I didn't continue to leave of the base I just let it go wild it still looks okay to me Make sure you have a self-watering pot with sponge eye out of the gravel on top for looks and to make it easier to water without splashing off the sponge

The bamboo plant I received was not shaped like the pineapple in the picture. My bamboo plant was much smaller than the measurements given in the description. The plant was healthy looking. After one week, one stalk turned yellow. I removed that stalk and the bamboo is doing fine so far. I have had the plant for 5 weeks. I usually grow plants extremely well. I’m hoping it will come out and look amazing.
