Needed to change out the leaking O-ring on my father-in-law’s pool chlorinator. Came across this bundle of two O-rings and the wrench for a very reasonable price. The wrench worked fine, the O-ring fit perfectly and now my father-in-law thinks I’m a hero. As a bonus, we have another O-ring for when this one gives out. My only suggestion would be to include a little packet of O-ring lubricant, and then the bundle would be perfect (I ended up buying a little tube of O-ring lubricant separately).

This was a very good value for the price - two o-rings and a wrench for the Hayward CL200 chloring dispenser lid. I had an o-ring out and was tired of seeing my chloring dispenser marred by my weekly pool maintenance company using large channel locks. The 'wrench' is plastic but if you push/pull on it perpendicular to the feeder, the strength is solid. I've hunt it in my pool equipment area and hope my weekly maintenance guy will use it. o-rings fixed my leaks as well! And, I have an extra for next time. I'd buy this again if I needed a lid wrench and o-rings.

Plastic feels a little flimsy

Works fine. It could be a little sturdier / heavier gauge plastic.

If you have a chlorinator for your pool (3 inch chlorine tablets) you need this item. Allows you to easily remove the chlorinator cap. It's plastic so it is breakable. My previous wrench lasted about 5 years. Definitely worth the money.

Great instrument. Makes job easy

I bought this about one year ago- it was a good deal, 2 o-rings and the wrench for $10. However, the o-ring only lasted one year. The previous o-ring lasted about 5 years. Not sure I would buy this again, let’s see how long the second o-ring lasts.

This tool makes it easier to unscrew the lid. My husband was pleased I ordered this for him.

The original seal on the left of the picture is ridged and perhaps too complex hence the early failure. This new set seems to work, did not see any leaks after installing, worth noting it was quite hard to screw back on the cover due to the new seal. The wrench helped however one needs to be aware of the torque angle to prevent dislodging the entire chlorinator from the pipes!
