Microwave egg fryer

Even the wife likes this one. We are now retired and look for easy prep ideas to make life a little less of a hassle. Heating it up in 2 minutes we then micro-fry eggs without breaking the yoke. We have found the sweet spot for timing over easy, over medium, and hard yoke eggs. It all depends on your microwave, but we have yet to cook a rubbery egg. The only complaint I have is the silicone covering gets EXTREAMLY hot and is deceiving if you pick it up without a hot pad, you can be halfway to the table before your hand is telling you to drop it. Even with the learning curve, it is a great product, and we use it almost every day. Cleanup is a breeze with a quick rinse and wipe. I have not had food get under the silicone edges or stick to anything. I would buy again.

Works great! Eggs come out of it cleanly if you apply a bit of pam cooking spray or oil. Cooking time depends on your microwave. It can take about 2-3 ish minutes depending on how hard you want the eggs. It didn't leak at all. I'd definitely advise using oven mitts or similar like the directions say to.

Works great for making breakfast sandwiches. Nothing sticks, cooks well, easy to clean, affordable and easy to use. It does get rather hot in the microwave so be be careful.

My wife does the "real" cooking and i make our breakfast most days using the microwave. This gadget delivers what it promises and the neat round fried eggs can be excellent. You will need to experiment a bit with cooking times, but follow directions and it should work well. The one add thing that I experience is that running the microwave with just the Maconee device in it, can cause the microwave to stop "microwaving." It will still run the blower and turn the turntable, but it stops cooking. I can't feel where anything in the microwave is caused to get hot but it it cuts off after 2 minutes of warming and about another 2 minutes of cooking. If I set a coffee cup of water in the microwave with the Maconee, the microwave won't do this but the cup of water does absorb some of the microwave energy, causing the cooking to take longer. I am still experimenting because I want this gadget to work for me, but I have to note these odd results.

Perfect eggs made easy with no stick and easy clean up

It is okay-ish. Microwave eggs just have a weird texture. The tray tends to spill over. Gets a bit messy with larger eggs. Less hassle to throw a skillet on the stove. This is the sort of thing I’d buy to have eggs in a dorm that doesn’t allow a hot plate.

The instructions state that each person will have to experiment with cooking times based on the microwave being used and I found this to be true. 2:30 - 3:00 for two eggs would have been too long for my 1200 watt microwave. I set the power level to 80% and cooked them for 1:45 to check them, cooked another 30 seconds and got sunny side up. Also cooked two uncooked, unfrozen sausage patties and they came out like they had been fried in a skillet. They say it will cook a frozen beef patty, but a 1/4 lb patty will not fit in the tray so I have not tried that yet. Very satisfied with this.

Terrible product. It sure doesn't work the way they say it does. After wasting a half dozen eggs and trashing the kitchen trying to get this thing to work I threw it in the garbage. There's no way to know if they're cooked except you take it out look at it find out it's all runny, cook it for another minute, take it out it's runny in the middle and pure rubber on the outside. It would have been easier to pull out the frying pan to begin with. The manufacturer should be ashamed of themselves. I'm a handicapped senior and I bought it because it looked easy. The process is not easy it's complicated and there's no way to be sure proof about it.

Easy to use and clean

Excellent product well made, personally I always preheat for 2 minutes prior to spraying with oil, and using.
