Reliable oxygen absorption, confirmed by reassuring observations
These OxyFree oxygen absorbers meet my criteria...or in the case of preserving jerky, I can equally well say "meat" my criteria haha. The company packs these in a super-thick vacuum sealed bag, hard as a rock. There is a color-changing oxygen exposure indicator in the bag, which I really like: For the skeptic in all of us...well, just open the bag and expose it to oxygen, and make sure you see the color change on that little indicator that they include in each sealed bag. These also heat up immediately when exposed to the air, providing another piece of evidence that the oxygen-absorbing chemical reaction is occurring rapidly, as it should. But there's more...we use these in mason-type jars (Ball, Kerr), with the two-piece button lids, for storing dried fruits and veggies, mostly. As the oxygen is removed from the air in the jar, the button lid inverts (pops), like a vacuum seal. With all of these indications, I can be pretty confident that this product is indeed doing what it's intended to do. No more oxygen accelerating the aging of our food. Good old oxygen sustains us throughout life, and then one way or another it seems to take us all down eventually...but in the meantime oxygen doesn't have to ruin your long-term-stored foods. Jarring, I know, isn't that what we're talking about here? :) Five stars for OxyFree oxygen absorption!

Always great
I prefer this brand. I actually ordered the wrong kind and my food (superfoods) got really congealed. This keeps moisture and mold away and that means a lot as my powders are expensive! I use for other things too .... a family staple

Excellent quality. Sometimes you need 200cc & sometimes you need 300cc, so these are flexible.
Excellent quality. Sometimes you need 200cc & sometimes you need 300cc, so these are flexible since you can easily use 100cc times 2 or 3 absorbents to achieve the total of 200cc or 300cc for long-term freeze-dried storage or short-term in a mason jar.

Worked well for my vacuum sealing
I like to use O2 absorbers in most of my vacuum-sealed bulk ingredients. These were the perfect size at a good price. They came vacuum sealed with an Oxygen "eye" indicator. Very pleased.

Would have been nice to have instructions
I am new to dehydrating food, and using oxygen absorbers. Had no idea once the bag was opened they would all be ruined if not put into an airtight container immediately. Cut a little slit in the bag and removed one....2 hours later the bag was soaking wet and hot. A couple of lines of print on the outside of the bag would have been helpful. Had to go on the internet to a prepper site to find out what went wrong and how to store these in the future. Can't really give a rating on the one I was able to use.

I used these to keep fresh and dry seal dry goods. Worked great. My jars sealed quickly and with no issues.

Great Product
O2 packs arrived in a reasonable time and were fresh! Everything went well. Only thing I would do to improve is package them in say 4 different packages within a package so it doesn't spoil if only using partial amount.
