Wide waiste band! - Revision (9/2017)-- I ordered another pair and it seems they have increased the size of the pouch a bit! First, I want to make it clear I bought these primarily as a jock strap for wrestling practice. I have a 31" waist (medium) but after reading comments, I SIZED UP to a large. It is still VERY restrictive in the pouch even in large. But I wanted a tight jock strap because you can read my religion through my wrestling singlet. This jock produces sort of a smoother "manikin" appearance to your junk. I would find it too restrictive (front is really too small for your "junk") to wear all day but it works great for practice. I actually bought two more so I don't have to wash only one every night after practice. IF you want to wear them as underwear--go TWO sizes up (I am a bit larger than average upfront but I figure 50% of guys are bigger than average--so try 2X larger for everyday use)?? If you wear skinny jeans-- this might smooth things out for those too. AND at this price---you can't beat it! The really wide waist band is nice too. Review: Inadequate pouch size - Beautiful fabric, workmanship is excellent, sits low on the waist. As is typical of most jocks, you have to go up one size for a proper fit. The main problem is that the pouch is extremely small, there is no give or stretch in the pouch fabric, and so it is very uncomfortable to wear.
