Dangerous Product Giving False Readings - A Health Hazard!
I regret purchasing the Curv glucometer from BeatO, as it has turned out to be nothing short of a disaster. I have been using glucometers for years to manage my blood sugar levels, and this device is by far the worst. The readings are wildly inaccurate, giving me false readings that fluctuate with no correlation to my actual condition.On multiple occasions, this glucometer showed dangerously high readings, which misled me into taking wrong doses of medication. In one instance, it showed my blood sugar was critically high, leading me to panic .The repercussions of this cannot be overstated. As someone living with diabetes, accurate blood sugar readings are critical for proper treatment and avoiding severe complications like hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia. Mismanagement due to incorrect readings can lead to serious health consequences such as coma, organ failure, or even death if conditions worsen.Imagine the stress and confusion this causes—not only did I have to repeatedly test myself using another meter to confirm the readings, but this also led to anxiety about whether I could trust the device in a real emergency. It's not just about inconvenience—it's about risking your life.On top of that, this glucometer is advertised as being "cutting-edge" and connected to the app, which makes it seem more reliable, but that’s misleading. The app shows the wrong data, and I even found myself doubting my doctor’s diagnosis at one point, since I was unknowingly relying on incorrect readings. This led to unnecessary adjustments in my treatment plan, causing further confusion and potentially endangering my health.Overall, the Curv by BeatO is a dangerously flawed product that could cause serious harm to those depending on it for their daily health management. I urge everyone to stay away from this device—it’s simply not worth the risk. I’ll never trust this brand again.
