Medarchitect Complete Suture Practice Kit with DIY Pad and 19-Wound Pad

I love thisssss! I’m so excited to learn. I got these because I want to be an OBGYN (I’m in med school) and I wanted to practice incase I’m asked to help suture in the OR. It came with a few free sutures from the seller which was great. I love the quality and I think it was really worth my money. Really good gift for a med student. I wish there were cicely sutures though

I got this for Xmas for my 11 year old who said he wants to be a doctor when he grows up. When he opened it, he was so excited, he was like, "I didn't even know I wanted this! I can't wait to use it!" He proceeded to forget about all his other presents for a moment to look inside the box. Inside, there is enough "skin" to practice suturing and messing around with the tools. The scalpel is not super sharp which is great because you can't cut yourself, but it cuts into the fake skin easily. For what I paid for this, I am really impressed with the quality, all the tools are well made and seem very realistic. I know that my kid will get a lot of use out of it, and I can imagine it would be great for an actual med student as well. The whole set is a lot of fun and he's already proud of the suturing he's done.

I’m not much of a doctor or anything like that. I got this to practice like suturing in case we ever got in an emergency and someone had to sew someone up. It helped me improve my sewing skills There are a lot of different cuts that help you practice how to sew those up and if you look online for videos they make you look like a pro. There is also something that looks and feels like real skin and you can cut on the skin and sew those up. It does come with real scalpels and equipment so you do need to be careful. Overall the size of it is pretty good and it was 100% a good purchase. This might also be helpful for medical students or people who want to get into the field.
