Great Product!
I'm an "Old School" Architectural Designer and still love to hand draft my drawings! Yes. I know CAD, but I love to draw by hand. This lettering guide makes some drafting aspects easier being able to adjust lettering guidelines for regular text or detail titles or sheet titles. Love it! I would recommend this item.

Good product but...
Good product but the instructions need more pictures to explain all the features. An explanations includes cover the several features but aren't clear enough.

Does it need a review?
This is exactly what you're getting. It seems perfectly serviceable. I don't think there's really a way this simple but effective tool can go wrong. The plastic is of fine quality. Really guys if you want it just get it? The tolerances on my piece seem to be good, if you have issues please leave a review QA will appreciated it if you bring it up, n can try to figure it out I'm sure.

Wheel is too loose.
I bought this for an architectural drafting class. It worked ok at first, but the wheel has loosened over time. When you try to draw guidelines the wheel turns and suddenly you don’t have straight lines, or they gradually get bigger which sort of defeats the point of a lettering guide. I bought a Staedtler because this became so frustrating. The wheel is tighter and doesn’t move when you draw guidelines.

Old school, just what I wanted!
Learned to print neatly with one of these for drafted documents like machine drawings and architecture plans in high school (Thank you Mr. Lewelyn). This the exact same tool I used over 50 years ago. And it still did the trick with a home schooled pal who never learned to print readably. One hour of practice and now his bad penmanship looks like it was done on a printer. Sometimes the old ways can still be used to make things better.

Useless due to big tolerances. A rattly thing and very obvious the cheap reproduction of the original product.

Es tal cual en la foto, y es una herramienta muy util.

Firstly, I am not a professional calligrapher or even a particularly good illustrator of letters, but I needed an accurate means of quickly marking out equal line spacing and this done the job perfectly for what I wanted. If you've never used one before there are youtube videos going through instructions which I found a lot easier to understand than the written instructions, but when you've got it then it's a brilliant little device for quickly marking out lines, and for me, probably a lot more accurate than measuring things out with a ruler.
