It's easy to install and the quality of materials is good and robust. Ordered 2 but installed 1 and it's working as expected.

We use this item for electric fans and our mobile phones. The usb socket is brilliant. I would highly recommend to anyone. Well worth every penny

Ordered this as it had usb's built in, according to the picture and the description it also stated usb's built on, when item arrived it had no usb's do wasn't as described or pictured.In the end I had to buy another UK twin socket with usb's to get the use out of the item, only ended up using the weatherproof case.Not a happy customer! 🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁

I have two issues of concern regarding this purchase; 1) the quality of the product and 2) the customer service provided by the sellerPrior to attempting to wire the socket into the ring circuit I tested the operation of the USB sockets. I found that, when inserting a standard USB plug into the USB socket, and I did try a few alternative USB plugs, there was a very tight fit and quite considerable force would be needed to attempt to push the USB plug in so that it is complete seated within the USB socket, so much so that the USB socket appeared to be being pushed back into the casing of the mains socket housing, to the extent that the red indicator light was also being forced back in.The USB sockets were loose and unstable within the casement and I felt that if I tried to drive the USB plug fully home it may break the USB socket. Due to safety reasons I decided not to install the product and I messaged the seller, requesting a refund.I returned the item to an address provided by the seller and the seller refunded the cost of the item.However, as I was returning the item based on questionable quality and safety issues, I requested that the postage cost for returning the item was refunded to me. I never received this and several times I requested to be refunded for the postage, however, the seller simply kept repeating that a refund (for the cost of the product) had been given.Eventually the item was returned back to me with a Royal Mail sticker marked ‘addressee gone away’!Amazon’s dispute resolution procedure does not seem to cover this situation; therefore, I am out of pocket through no fault of my own.

I have a faulty unit, the USB sockets don’t work, so I can not recommend anyone to buy this.
