Nice radio!I found the setup to be pretty straightforward (although I am an IT support guy so computer things make sense to me). We bought the radio as there are no local 'over the air' stations that we'd choose to listen to in our area. This gives us many options to choose from.I found the UPnP very nice to play music which I have on my cell phone or laptops around the house. I put a 128 GB thumb drive in my router loaded with music and I can build playlists from that which play music of my choosing for a long time! It took a little bit of thinking to get the hang of navigation for finding the music, but it was discoverable with some poking around and understanding of computer file structures.It appears that this is basically a Linux computer with a radio like interface instead of a standard keyboard and screen.Sound is very nice. Enough volume for around the house.I like the way the alarm brings the volume up over a few seconds instead of an abrupt start of music.The only minus, I would say, is that any custom playlists of UPnP files are lost when the power fails. The channel favorite selections are saved through a power outage, just not the playlist to specific audio files.But for the price, I can live with that limitation.This radio has a web style interface to enter in a table of stations beyond the skytune which is included by default. Might be nice if other settings could also be set via this interface.Overall it's a pretty nice radio. The family is enjoying it.DJ.

I have seen this device become unresponsive three times now so that only unplugging it and re-plugging it helped. Basically it had crashed and became unresponsive to input from the buttons. Following the setup procedure it seems to be running the latest firmware. Further, I am running this on a WPA2 authenticated/encrypted Wifi network, maybe that has something to do with it. The other problem I am having is that this is my 2nd device with this type of problem. The Aluratek AIRMM01F I had bought in 2012 had the same problem, but worked better on an unprotected network -- but that's not how I will configure my Wifi at home. Maybe it's using the same problematic firmware. Anyway, I wouldn't buy it again. Tossed it today.

Don't listen to people who say that this radio is hard to set up or would not connect to their router, most of them simply don't know what they are doing. Set up is easy and as long as you enter the password with no errors, it will connect fine to most routers. This radio is much simpler to set up, operate and works much faster than the ones that come with a color screen. I've been using this radio daily for almost 9 months and it hasn't failed or given me any issues once. Adding and removing stations URLs or IPs is super easy via the web interface. The speaker lacks bass somewhat but this is expected of a radio this size, this is mostly for listening to talk stations. The manual is good and describes everything in detail. For the price, this is a great buy.

This product was everything I expected. Instructions could have been better but I got it working in about an hour. I was able to plug in a USB drive with all my music into my router and the radio can play them. Plenty of radio stations to choose from. If you are experiencing trouble getting stations due to distance or in a rural area, this is just what you need. This item is was much less than others I found and I'm quite happy with it.

This is an excellent radio for the price. Its ideal in my man cave but my girl friend uses while cooking as well. I have not tried to add and stations to it but with such a large selection I see no need. Its not hard to set up but it can get a little confusing while putting in your internet connection but I have no complaints. In my opinion its a great little radio.

This radio originally held high promise but wound up disappointing me so I sent it back. It runs for about 24 hours and then either stops or the audio begins 'stuttering". You can clear it by power cycling it, but then a day later it happens all over again. I had hoped to use it for a music source in an area usually not accessible but that's impossible. So back it goes.

I purchased my first WR220 in January of 2016. It worked as advertised... for about 6 months. I was using it for less than an hour a day. Then it developed a high pitch squeal which could only be heard when I attached the unit to my home audio system. It didn't matter whether I used the headphone or the line out jack. My wife and dog both complained bitterly. I have a total hearing loss above 16,000 Hz and could not hear it. But my dog would go and whine at the door and my wife would get very upset. After a month of emails with Ocean Digital, they sent me a new unit at the end of August and it worked just fine. I started using the unit for about 6-8 hours a day. In late September this unit started doing exactly the same thing, I know the wiring is not the problem as I could plug in my smartphone to the same jack going to my audio receiver and it has worked just fine for over a month. After two units, I give up. I guess if you were only going to listen to it through the built-in speaker it would be ok, as the speaker has a limited frequency range.

Not worth the money........

Après 2h pour essayer de la connecter, ne marche toujours pas. Pour la saisie de code wifi, il ne faut pas valider le dernier caractère (le laisser en blanc). Apres la connexion au wifi marche mais impossible de lancer les radios internet, le message "skytune not connected" s'affiche. Alors que le wifi est bien connecté... 2 reinitialisations aux reglages d'usine plus tard, ne marche tjrs pas.. demande de remboursement !

Après une semaine de courriels entre nous et le fabricant nous avons dû retourner la radio parce qu'elle ne pouvait pas s'associer avec notre Livebox Orange.
