Eastland Women's Liliana Slip-On Loafer

These are okay. They have a crazy high instep - the fit reminds me of ankle socks - and the overall appearance is more custodial than couture. But, they are well made and fit for the most part. They are very snug, which is a shame since they desperately in need of an arch insert. I would say that I have fairly normal arches and these are flat as a pair of flip-flops on the inside. I have such trouble finding shoes, and there are no decent wide width shoe stores around here so I kept them, but I was a bit disappointed that they aren't more comfortable.

For years, I was a dedicated wearer of the Eastland Newport. I've probably owned 10 pair in both black & brown over the years. However, the last few pair I bought were of substandard quality & the soles split within the first few months. I tired to find a suitable replacement, but come up empty handed for a long time. Then I finally came across the Liliana. I now own these in both black & brown & love them - maybe even more than the Newports.Based on Amazon's fit recommendation, I purchased these in a 7 - instead of the 7.5 that I always got in the Newports. The 7 in these definitely fits like the 7.5 in my other Eastlands, so great job Amazon. They're a perfect fit!

I have a slightly high arch and wide foot, but not wide enough for wide width shoes. My heel is more narrow. I often find that my foot goes to the end of a shoe with not enough toe room, and then it slips on my heel. This shoe fits me perfectly. Plenty of room in the toe box with no heel slippage. Took them out of the box and wore them comfortably all day with no problems!

I was comparing this shoe to another I bought from Clarks. This shoe was a little 'bigger'. The lip came up higher on my foot, the heel was higherl, the padding was taller. All in all it is a nice looking shoe and comfortable but I returned it and kept the other style. Eastland is a little stiff.

Such a comfortable shoe.. only regret is not purchasing 2 pairs!

These are a bit loose but do have better arch support than some recent Eastland purchases. Like the rubber sole better than some of the hard composite soles they've started using. Decided to keep this pair and try them. I have worn Eastland shoes for over a decade. Sizing is no longer consistent and the workmanship is no longer predictably top-notch.

I am very disappointed with the leather on these shoes, it is NOT regular quality. I had another model made by Eastland and they were indestructible where the leather was concerned. I finally had to replace them because the footbed wore out but the leather was fine. The leather on these is incredibly think and will scratch completely off at the slightest touch. Not sure if it is this model or just this pair, but I would not buy these again.

I like the style of this shoe. The width is not tight at all. The only thing I didn't like is that the area near my ankle bone is a little high and sometimes rub against my ankle. I hope it will improve with more wear.
