I bought the Lucky Fish Finder and it worked well but I had a problem with condensation. When I got home from my trip I contacted Luck on a Sunday night. Within hours if had a response. They tried to help me solve the problem and within a few days they decided to send me a new fish finder. I had it well within time for my next trip and the the new fish finder worked perfectly. The fact that they went out of there way to solve my problem so quickly is perfect example of great customer service.

I wanted a fish locator that was compact, lightweight, portable, didn't require an expensiver or heavy separate battery, & didn't cost a fortune. Top of the line locators (with GPS & cameras & all the toots and whistles) all require 12-volt batteries. In a big fishing boat, you just hook them into the boat's electrical system. But who wants to carry a 40 pound battery in a small boat or canoe (or to spend over $100 for a "lightweight" 8 pound battery designed by the top manufacturers)? So far, my Lucky Model Y2020-CT does its job: accurate depth to bottom (or bottom's weed cover), depth of schools of fish between the boat and the bottom, guestimate of water temperature, hands free use (it does have a wire from the unit hanging around my neck on a lanyard & the transducer that's over the side of the boat). You really do need to read the manual, & you should really check out online video reviews that describe its limitations. I find that it's a great addition for those of us who don't sink a ton of money into their tackle & fishing equipment.

This is a great unit for someone like me just getting started in Kayak fishing. It’s light weight, compact, and super durable, not to mention much easier on the wallet than more advanced fish finders.Also a great unit for learning to read sonar for fishing and getting used to what certain sonar signatures look like.Customer support for getting my hands on an extra transducer mount has also been great; quick, responsive, and knowledgeable…almost unheard of these days I know!

Works pretty good to let you know if there are fish in the area. Of course, the fish are always moving. But at least it gives you an idea. It's easy to use. We use it for our kayak when fishing. I like how it tells the depth of the water, the temp of water, too. I like that you can use it wired or wireless. & wireless works pretty good. I like the container it comes with so you can keep everything together & protected. Overall, we're satisfied with it.

I’ve only use for I’ve fishing so far. Super easy to use out of the box. Battery lasts all day on a full charge. Device can also just sit on the ice as it is water resistant. Don’t need a big ugly bag and car battery to use this. Super easy to set up and use. I’ve never owned a sonar before but have used a couple and this one has a pretty similar look to an entry level garmin or lowrance. Only problem is that I question its ability to detect actual fish. I’ve caught several fish and gotten several bites when nothing was on the screen. This is on maximum sensitivity. Tried tweaking the settings a bit but no changes. It also has trouble locating my jig unless I’m moving it around. When I do move it around it detects my 1/64 oz jig as a fish. So it’s great for finding depth but unreliable when it comes to detecting actual fish. It has shown me multiple fish at times and nothing bites, not even a nibble so I question actual fish finding accuracy.I will keep this because I do need something for depth and I’m open water I will use the wireless piece to figure out depths at some of my local lakes since I don’t have a boat and I’m just guessing from the shore. For the price it’s worth keeping due to having this feature.If you need a more serious and accurate device, I’d pay a little more and get a more reputable brand.

My wife ordered for a recent fishing trip and it’s exactly what we needed to get closer to pinpointing and catching more! A fraction of the price of a fancy finder…this little guy gets it done when needed! Highly recommend!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a neat, compact fishing tool. Running wires for a fish/depth finder was not going to be easy in my boat, so I was looking for something more portable and easy to set up. This fit the bill and with a decent price. I also bought a clamp to put the transducer on my trolling motor rather than it just be floating because I move while fishing. This worked perfectly for me and was a good way to know depth of the water where I was trolling. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a portable fish/depth finder.

Bought this little depth sounder for use with my inflatable kayak. Seems to work well so far although there is no mounting bracket or screw holes etc. (you can use a cell phone holder to hold it though). It would be nice if there were a couple of mounting holes or something to mount it with. My one complaint so far is there is no pdf version of the manual that I can find - I went to the manufacturers web site and they seem to be showing stuff from their 2019 catalog. Searching their site for "Y2020-CT" turns up nothing (there is no model number etc. anywhere on the device - this number is from the Amazon page).

Used for the first time. Easy to use and reads depths pretty good I believe. Marked a lot of fish in 3 plus meters of water. Have to bring rod next time.

I purchase this for my father-in-law. He is a fishing expert. He told me this device helps a lot.He can use it to check if there is any fish down in the water or not. That helps him save lots of time.
