CeraVe Cream-to-Foam Cleanser with Amino Acids for Normal to Dry Skin 236ml

Bought this cleanser after hearing a dermatologist with combination skin talking about it on a podcast. I previously used an expensive brand (Clinique) but it was causing my skin to feel tight after using so wanted to try something else. I have combination skin with hormonal acne on my chin and sensitive skin too. This cleanser has been brilliant, and hasn’t made my skin tight, it feels really soft and supple after use. The pump makes it easy to use and it lasts a long time, and it’s also cheaper than the brand I was using before. I’m converted, highly recommend!

I felt compelled to leave this review after being so impressed by a travel size bottle, I had to buy a bigger version!I think everyone knows the premium quality of CeraVe face products now with their close focus on ceramides and amino acids. They prove to be a brand of particular relevance by being wonderfully affordable and holding tremendous value. This face wash does everything I fell in love with CeraVe for, from being a gentle yet proactive product. The face wash comes out in a cream form which at first appears similar to some other known brands. The main difference, however, comes through once applied to the face at instantly turns into a highly foamy, exfoliating and soothing face wash. Best of all, the creamy texture followed by bubbles feel wondrously hydrating on the skin. As a sensitive skin sufferer, with combination skin, this face wash truly feels just right. It cleanses without stripping too deeply, thus leaving my face feeling supple, especially when using with their face cream.It's been two months of use for me and my skin honestly have not felt more gentle and spot free. I'll admit when it comes to pigments and acne scars, this face wash misses the needed salicylic acid to tackle blemishes. On the other hand, for long-term use, this face wash becomes the best option to achieving clean, balanced skin.

Cleans nicely and has a smooth texture, I was expecting it to lather up with some water but it doesn't so not sure how it foams( which I expected). Anyway, its good enough as a cleanser, it doesn't dry my sensitive skin and doesn't react with moisturisers I put on afterwards. The pump is great and it looks fresh and its easy to clean sitting at the sink. Use once a day preferably at night to get all that make-up and sunscreen off in a oner. One step clean makes it good value for money.

I have oily combo skin and I use this in the evening during winter months. Works really well for a proper clean that isn’t drying. It’s fragrance free and non stripping so I think it would work for all skin types.

I love this cleanser, it is now the only one I ever use. Does not dry out or strip your skin, removes make up and impurities and keeps skin soft. Have been using it a while now and my skin had definitely improved in texture. Available in different sizes it is well worth the money and lasts because you don’t need to use a great amount.

The pump gives a perfect amount for my face, and it foams up nicely. It has a sort of clean, chemical smell that I've grown to like after using it for a while, but it might not be something everybody likes. Even following the first day of use, there was a definite difference in my skin, with a softer and more hydrated texture (I have a normal skin type for context). Definitely recommend for people who are looking for a gentle cleanser.
