Great & easy to use!!

I was doubtful. My daughters are of Eastern European descent, and have a skin tone I refer to as "neon white." Despite our best efforts, we each get a couple of sunburns each summer. I thought the best option for us was spray sunscreen, for ease and speed of use. However, now that I've found this device, I have changed my ways. I use the good sunscreen (but it's cheaper in liquid form), and these work like giant crayons. You just color yourself all over. No puddles of gloopy sunscreen all over clothes and towels. No sunscreen spray on your sunglasses. Just full coverage sunscreen, no mess. After we tried one, I went back that same week and ordered three more, so everyone in my family can have their own. Amazing product!

I saw this over and over on videos from different YouTube moms. I kept looking at the price, and I just couldn't do it. I am the frugal gal, and I always try to DIY things. But I have four boys 12 and under and we live at a high altitude. We're outside a lot in the summer, so we use a lot of sunscreen. I finally decided to order this, and I feel like it's pretty expensive for what it is. It's not thick plastic, so my biggest worry is that it'll break when dropped. That's a lot of wasted expensive mineral sunscreen, and the loss of what I paid for the buddy. I hope that doesn't happen, because almost $20 for one season of use is not a good deal in my opinion. It would be smart to create a rubberized exterior that is more durable. Pro- It fills easily, holds a good amount. It's portable thanks to the cap. I can use my own sunscreen. Application to the face is so easy. No more sunscreen all over my hands. No more bottles of expensive sunscreen squirted all over by my 4 year old. Con- It does not apply evenly. It is very streaky. You have to turn the applicator to the side and rub the product you've applied around with just the side of the sponge. It applies way too much product if you keep the reservoir above the sponge. Or even if you just try to cover every part of the appendage using the rollerball. This may not be an issue if your sunscreen is thick, but ours is certainly not runny and it's a problem. Overall, this is a better way to apply sunscreen especially to kids. Spray is the easiest, but nearly all of them give you less, cost more, and have nasty chemicals. The sunscreen buddy definitely still needs some improvement.

Is a must to have I always keep mine in my beach bag no more messing around with lotions I just use my solar buddy and ready to enjoy the day.

I bought one of these a few weeks ago to put my sunscreen in. I have Vitiligo and have to wear a lot of sunscreen. I hate getting my hands greasy with sunscreen so I have been using spray sunscreen for many years. But, I know the lotion is supposed to be better at protecting your skin than the spray. I also want my kids to use the lotion so that they are well protected as well. So I bought one, put the sunscreen lotion in it, and it was perfect. I love it! I can do my neck and my chest and my face without getting all greasy. So… as I mentioned earlier, I have Vitiligo. About 50% of my body has no pigment anymore and shows up as bright white on my skin. In the summer months, I use Jergans self tanning lotion to make my white spots look not as white. I had a brilliant idea to purchase a second one of these Solar buddies and put my Jergans lotion in it to apply to my body without having to get my hands covered in it. This is why I’m not giving it five stars. The self tanning lotion is only a little bit thicker than the sunscreen, but it doesn’t work in the solar buddy applicator. The ball rolls when I’m trying to apply it, but no lotion comes out. I can only assume it’s because the lotion is too thick. I’m not even going to make an effort to return it because it’s used. I’m very disappointed. So while this works great for sunscreen, anything thicker than that, even just a little thicker, doesn’t work at all.

This is a great product. Refillable, so don't feel like I'm creating unnecessary waste. Easy for my kid to open, close, and apply. Definitely recoy

Bei uns war das eincremen der Kinder immer eine Katastrophe. Seid wir den solar buddie haben, wollen unsere Kinder sich selber eincremen und es gibt keine Tränen mehr. Wir nutzen ihn auch im Winter für die normale Bodylotion. Super easy zum befüllen und reinigen. Klare Kaufempfehlung

Nie mehr Ohne!! Perfekt für die ganze Familie - die Hände bleiben sauber und schon die kleinsten können sich damit selbst eincremen. Ein Must-Have für den Sommer! Einfach aufschrauben eigene Sonnencreme, Einfüllen und gleich kann’s losgehen geht einfach und bei uns ist nie etwas ausgelaufen!

Prodotto magico, ci ha facilitato la vita nei periodi estivi. Come noto spalmare creme non è piacevole per nessuno, oltre ad essere un' azione lunga è spesso odiata dai bambini. Con questo prodotto potrete riempire in anticipo il serbatoio (tappo giallo) con la crema scelta, noi lo utilizziamo per la crema protezione solare per i nostri figli. Al bisogno si svita il tappo azzurro e con il comodo sistema roll-on (quello dei deodoranti stick) potete spalmare molto più velocemente la crema. + economico + veloce + tappo a vite molto solido ( i bimbi sotto i 2 anni non riescono a svitarlo) - attenzione a chiudere bene la parte gialla altrimenti vi ritroverete perdite liquide di crema nella borsa o dovunque riporrete l' oggetto (non è un difetto di fabbricazione ma potrebbe capitare se non si è attenti nel richiudere il prodotto)
