Really nice product and also affordable.Things i liked about it:1. Obviously its L shape so that it can be used even while charging your gadgets without damaging it for longer run. Not vheap rubber plastic2. Its strength, Highly durable material.3. Long enough.4. Black grey colour make it dirt free, and it doesn't look ugly even after using long time

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Good quality cable - durable and functional. It charges quickly and stays connected with no issues. However, the cable is showing minor fraying just a few days into use. Overall, okay.

It's a good and useful product with good quality

To prevent cable tear you can go too ways- either make it thicker with relatively stiff plastic braiding so that it resists bending, or make extremely pliable so that it quickly recovers from serious bends. The latter is a better, rarer approach that this cable uses. Its braided with synthetic fibres that are not stiff as some other plastic braiding, and doesn't get torn like the rubber of normal cables. The thing is that, you'll always fold your cable unknowingly and if the wire doesn't give, it will stress the jack and the port, eventually bending it and making it loose (a problem with many braided cables). The L shaped design is a double edged sword- it puts extremely little stess on the port with less than 0.1 degrees of swaying. However, do note that it can block your audio port.Consider your left hand's thumb to be the smooth side of the micro-usb head (the usb logo side) and extended index finger to be the direction of the wire (👈). Hold the phone screen side up and see how the usb goes in (smooth side up or hook side up) and correspond with the left hand rule. If you see nail side of your extended thumb towards you then audio jack should be on the right (opposite to your extended left index finger) and vice-versa if you see the palm side of your thumb up. I am sorry if I made this confusing for you. I use bluetooth earphones so I didn't have to worry about this.After a month of use, I am seeing small signs of pilling (like the threads of a sweater) but its only cosmetic, minor and doesn't hamper the function of the cable. This is truly the best micro-usb cable you can buy, both in terms of design and build quality.

Stopped working after 1 years but it's okay considering the price.
