I like cooking with fresh lime but most of a bag of limes go bad before I can use them. Freeze dried lime juice has a very long shelf life and is much more convenient to use. I put a couple of packets of True Lime in a Thai noodle dish and I also put 3 packets and 1-2 tablespoons of sugar in 20 ounces of water in a thermos, shake it, then fill the thermos with ice cubes to make delicious limeade. My favorite use is preparing dry camping meals, similar to freeze dried backpacking food but much better and much less expensive. Here's my recipe for a single serving of Thai Noodles. I made 16 servings today and packaged them for camping. The sauce ingredients are mixed in my KitchenAid mixer. All of the ingredients can be purchased on Amazon. CAMPING THAI NOODLES Noodle Pack: 3.5 ounces rice noodles (3-5 mm wide) 1 tbsp TVP (texturized vegetable protein) 1 tbsp dried crushed mushrooms 1 tbsp dried onion 1 tsp dried garlic granules 1/2 tsp dried ginger granules Sauce Pack: 1/4 cup coconut milk powder 1/4 cup peanut butter powder 1 tbsp coconut oil 1 tsp soy sauce powder 1 tsp gochugaru 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes 2 packets of freeze dried True Lime juice Crushed Peanut Topping Pack: 2 tbsp crushed peanuts Packaging Crushed peanuts sealed in the bottom of a vacuum sealer bag. Mix the sauce ingredients to form a uniform mixture with the coconut oil evenly distributed into the powdered coconut milk, peanut butter and spices. Portion into the middle of the bags and vacuum seal. Low pressure vacuum seal the noodles and other dried ingredients in a separate bag with the other two packets. Preparation Add noodles and other dry ingredients to 1.5 cups of water and boil. Cover to soak for five minutes. Stir in sauce pack and bring to a boil. Cover for five minutes. Garnish with chopped peanuts.

I've been using these for some years. I love them because I know it's JUST LIME, the packets are portable so it's easy to take a few to work, on errands, etc., and the uses are pretty endless.

Absolutely love these, the lime packets are so easy to bring with you. Instead of tequila shots like lime anddd salt I just use these packets and they work so well I always have people asking where I got them from. I use them daily in my water as well. Amazing product especially for when going on boat or out in general!

The short return of lime Diet Coke had me wishing it was a permanent member of the lineup. A fresh lime in a Diet Coke worked, yeah, but then I had to get so many limes, and I don't drink it that often, plus who carries a lime wedge to school to doctor up their Coke? I keep these in my kitchen, backpack, and my GF's purse. I offer them to people when they are drinking Coke. These TASTE just like lime Diet Coke (1 per bottle is the perfect ratio). Also good in water, but I use like 2, or in beer, where I use 1.

This is a great product. I try to drink zero or low calorie drinks, but I hate artificial sweeteners, stevia and sucralose etc., and I find plain water does not encourage me to drink enough. The True Citrus basic Lime, Lemon and Grapefruit sachets are excellent and do not contain any sweeteners - just some powdered oil and juice from the fruit, with citric acid, which helps protect against kidney stones. They make it easy to drink plenty of zero calorie water. They are also good in hot tea. Be aware of the acidity side of things for your teeth, but for me overall the health benefits from encouraging hydration and helping keep a healthy weight more than outweigh this. Note that I believe the basic orange sachets contain a little sugar, and some of their more processed drinks e.g. their lemonade range contain stevia (ugh). My positive review is for the "basic" lime sachets, lemon sachets and grapefruit sachets only. The sachets contain a powder which you mix into your drinks etc. Unfortunately, you will occasionally receive orders where the powder has spoiled and solidified into something resembling small pieces of plastic. Probably caused by improper storage or conditions during delivery. Check your order when it arrives - the sachets should all contain a powder which dissolves in cold water. They should not contain solid lumps. I recently received a 500 box of lime where all the sachets had solidifed in this way. The regular Amazon returns system would not let me return the box as it was a food product - I used the chatbot service and it refunded me. Looking at the reviews, others have experienced this problem too - I expect the manufacturer is well aware of it. I'm concerned what will happen the next time I receive a spoiled box, as presumably the chatbot system would flag repeated refunds. I'll still keep ordering, as it is an excellent product, but I might stick with the 100 sachet boxes rather than the 500 packs, to balance the risk.

The final results for the review are: After trying these new Amazon finds for a month our family unanimously agreed these crystallized lemon and lime packets are a great find. At first, I was a bit hesitant to purchase them because for the most part, I encourage my family to drink water and homemade all-natural fruit sodas and probiotic drinks, however, these packets are packed with flavor. At just about $0.05 per packet, they are inexpensive, great to keep at home, and perfect on the go. They offer no nutritional value however, they are zero calories. Before you consider this purchase and fork over the $25+ it is important to note that the Amazon ad does not show a picture of the ingredients with the exception that it states that it's made with real lemons and limes, however, the crystalized lemons and limes also contain Citric Acid. Despite this important fact my family absolutely loves this product and ordered multiple boxes for home use and also to store long-term.
