Q: Can these be used in Mathmos Lava lamps?

No, don’t heat enough, run at much lower temperatures.

Q: Can i use this in an ordinary light fixture. i have a set of ceiling lights that are not currently led. 2 need replacing.

As long as they are LED light fittings. The wattage is also low for a light fitting in the house. Not that bright.

Q: Is this suitable for outdoor light

Doubt it unless outside light is fully waterproof,connectors are mains electric,would think most outside lighting is not mains
