I purchased this bible while it was on sale for $19.46 and it is an incredible value for the price! I usually use my study bible but it is large and cumbersome for anything but study. I wanted a bible that was a good quality for times I just want to read the Word. This is a fantastic value! The bible has a waterproof cover and lays flat. There is a little bit of bleed through from the text on other pages but it is very minor and not distracting. This bible has gold leafed edges and two ribbon markers that are stitched in. This is a solid, quality bible! The print is large and can be read without a magnifying glass. This bible reads well and is a comfortable weight. It is an excellent value for the price! I will be buying more for gifts.Addendum: The page with Psalm 23 printed on has a small amount of smeared ink. In spite of this, and this is the only "defect" in the production of this Bible I have been able to find, I plan on purchasing another one. This really is an excellent Bible for the price and the print size is very comfortable for reading. I still highly recommend this Bible!

Trying to read the Bible that I had used for years became a battle of where I had placed my readers or bifocals. I thought I would try a large print Bible but figured it would have to be the size of a Buick in order to get all 66 books in. I was amazed and so pleased with this new Bible. The print is easy to read even without glasses, the size is perfect, the pages aren't see through or flimsy, even is a red letter edition, and it's nice looking. Best of all it was on sale at an extremely low price. I couldn't be happier. It makes it easier to give up my tattered edition with all my notes and high lights from over the years.

I can't say enough good things about this edition of the NKJV; I'd give it 6 stars if I could. I've bought quite a few in the dark purple, black, and this brown color for gifts and my own use. This Bible has easy to read print which is line matched to reduce ghosting, and the imitation leather covers are good quality. It easily lies open and has features found in premium Bibles. It's very readable and a pleasure to use.I also love the NKJV translation, along with the ESV, NASB-1995, and the classic KJV. It's a modern language translation that is on the literal word for word end of the translation spectrum, but in easily understood English.I also own premium Schuyler and Allan Bibles, but I'd be happy with this Nelson edition if they were the only ones I had. I bought this edition to make notes, highlight, etc. because I didn't want to mark in my heirloom quality editions. This Bible is a gem, a great value, and I highly recommend it. So far it is holding up well in use, too. Of course, it's the content, God's word, that is truly precious.

This Bible is so nice. I love it. It is easy to handle and fits perfectly into my purse where my old Bible was larger and thicker. Very nice product!!!

This Bible was exactly what I wanted. It is well made, the perfect dimensions, and has a (large) comfortable font size. The cover is nice and soft, and it lays open for reading. The pages are a nice weight, not too thin, and have a gold edge. My only disappointment was that it smelled pretty strongly from the ink/printing, but that should clear up in a couple of days. Overall, I love it and recommend it to anyone who needs a new bible.

5 Stars.For a Leathersoft Bible, it has the soft feel of leather. Just beautiful.Large font is amazing - which makes this Bible a pleasure to read.Paper is high quality - with gold gilding. I loved how one of the video reviewers actually took the time to feature the paper. That was very helpfulWords of Christ in Red - always important. Verse by verse - which I MUCH prefer.Fits beautifully in the hand. Not too big, not too small.I have a main Thomas Nelson Leather NJKV Center Column Reference Bible I have used for the last 42 years - and I could never find another one that was the same relative size, verse by verse, etc. - until now.It has the references at the end of each verse (and also at the bottom) - which is unique. Concordance and Maps in the back - just like my treasured NKJV.I love this Bible. The only thing better would be to have it in leather, but again, this Leathersoft is just as nice!Don't pay any attention to any negative review. Buy it - you won't be disappointed.
