(My original review read: "Other reviewers have mentioned the duplicate pages, but it's more than that: Not only do some pages appear twice, but the duplicate pages are taking the place of pages that should be there, so important parts of the story are missing.")The publishers have fixed the problem, and the latest print run has gotten rid of the duplicate pages and inserted the missing ones.There is no visible difference between the two books at all, and I do not know if the remaining copies in the initial run have been recalled. So, if you purchase one, I'd suggest flipping through the pages looking for duplication.

The problem with this book was not discovered until the book had been read by several of my students who all told me the book was hard to follow and made no sense.I buy hardcover books from my own funds to put books that are new interesting in my classroom for my students to read and discuss. There are no school funds to acquire non-academic material for my class anymore so I buy these books with my own money. This is an excellent story for my students to discuss and compare with their own experiences and expectations. Books like this help me to make everything a learning experience.The defect in this book was caused by the misprinting of 5 pages being duplicated in the last half of the book. If the problem was just 5 extra pages, it would not be a big problem because the 5 extra pages could have been ignored by the reader.In this book however, the problem is that the 5 "extra pages" were printed in place of the 5 pages that actually belonged there.The missing pages caused the story to be missing a great portion of the narrative and made it impossible to follow the story. The "extra" pages follow the correct location by exactly 2 pages. This is simply a message to warn you to check the copy of this book you have purchased so you can return it within the time limit if it is defective. Because of the way modern printing machines operate it is likely that the printing operation prints several copies worth of pages at a time and that only one group of pages from the many that are printed may have this problem. I found this error after comparing the hardcover version of this book with the softcover version after my students complained about the book being difficult to read.

As has been noted, there are production issues with the first/initial printing where multiple pages (more than 5) are duplicated while others are missing entirely.Story art and print quality are excellent - on par with the first graphic novel. But I can't give the item itself a better review due to the production issues. As soon as they can fix those, I will happily repurchase and would rate it around 4.5 stars.

The book has repeating pages I would not recommend this product.

Like others, I got a book with some pages duplicated and others missing. Why are these misprinted books still being shipped?

I preferred the illustrations of the first graphic novel to this one. It did follow the storyline of the book fairly well.

DO NOT order this book! I have tried to order it twice and this is what happens as soon as you open the book! It completely falls apart from the spine. Now I’m inconvenienced with having to ship yet another one back to Amazon for a refund.

Received a torn book, requested for an exchange.. however the second book that was sent had the same issue. All pages from the center binding were falling off.

My kids were really disappointed that the characters were drawn differently to how they are depicted in the book and so didn't enjoy this at all.

My daughter loves this series but when this one arrived it had several pages printed twice accidentally like it was printed in a hurry, very annoying. If printed correctly it would have been 5 stars.
