I soooo desperately wish I had taken before and after photos because this has been the only product to actually heal the skin on my hands. I’ve had sensitive, rough, dry and cracked hands since I was a kid and they’ve never been supple. I’ve tried shea butter, coconut oil, jojoba oil, eczema lotions, sensitive skin lotions, squalene moisturizer, emu oil, I mean, EVERYTHING. After a particularly long stent of verrryy dry skin I decided to try this product. After 2 days my hands are the softest they have ever been. God bless whoever created this product.

I absolutely love this product, have been using it for years. No problem with the package, I keep it in a cup with other tubes and have never found it to leak. As a gardener I am hard on my hands and have found this to be awesome on my face as well. This is the best herbal salve I’ve tried, it works very well for skin abrasions and infections. However, the formula is oily and tends to separate. It’s a natural product so I don’t mind. What I do mind is when the oil leaks everywhere from under the cap. This has to be kept in a ziploc to keep the mess contained. The problem might be less severe if kept refrigerated. However, if Moon Valley Organics could copy Weleda brand metal tube packaging, this problem could be solved. The Weleda tubes have a plastic thread on the metal part which seems to help seal the plastic cap to it better. I do like that it is in a metal tube to keep the ingredients fresh, and prefer a tube to a jar, so I can dispense the product more sanitarily. Another option might be an airless pump like premium beauty brands use. But I’m not sure how well those work for thick salves.By the way, the tube I got from Amazon seemed a little rancid, probably due to the non climate controlled warehouses. It might be best to buy direct from the maker.
